God has the misfortune of having to work with imperfect men including prophets. Even Moses was prevented from seeing the promised land because of his failure to keep Gods commandments.You skipped replying to #138.
It was a simple thing to answer.

Early Latter-day Saints began to settle in northwestern Missouri soon after the church was organized in 1830. According to a revelation given by Joseph Smith Jr., Independence
would be the "centerplace" of the City of Zion when
Jesus returned. However, disputes between early members of the church and Missourian settlers in Independence led to the expulsion of the early members of the church from Jackson County in 1833. Most temporarily settled in
Clay County, Missouri. Towards the end of 1836, Caldwell County was created specifically for a settlement of members of the church to compensate property losses in Jackson County. Shortly after the creation of Caldwell County, Far West was made the county seat.
[3]
Far West became the headquarters of the church in early 1838 when Joseph Smith and Sidney Rigdon relocated to the town from the previous church headquarters in Kirtland, Ohio.
Joseph Smith taught that the Garden of Eden had been in Jackson County and when Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden, they moved to the area now comprising Caldwell and Daviess Counties, Missouri.
While headquartered in Far West, the official name of the church was changed from Church of Jesus Christ to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

After all; your creed states:
THE ARTICLES OF FAITH
OF
THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS
11. We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
13. We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of PaulWe believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

Elsie, you have never extolled the virtues of your chosen religion, but have only insulted mine.
Which is why I have actually wondered if you are indeed a Christian ....
.... glancing at the history of your posts, your only religion has the appearance of being an Anti-Mormon-Cultist.

Elsie, you have never extolled the virtues of your chosen religion, but have only insulted mine.I'm sorry that posting accurate teachings from your chosen religion is so damaging.
#138 merely asked about a possible typo.
Why is that so scary to you?
All history was a palimpsest, scraped clean and reinscribed exactly as often as was necessary.
And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed-if all records told the same tale-then the lie passed into history and became truth.
"Who controls the past,"' ran the Party slogan, "controls the future: who controls the present controls the past."

I’ve grown tired of your game. Consequently, I used to answer and answer as you quickly moved on and overwhelmed me with more questions without ever considering what my answers were.
I will not answer anymore questions from you until you answer these two simple questions which I have asked you 30 times before:
Question 1. What did Christ mean in John 17:21-23 when he wanted his disciples to be one just like he and God are one?
Answer A: Christ wanted his disciples to join in a 12-in-1, 1-in-12 unity in trinity .....
...or...
Answer B: I don’t know teppe: This scripture pretty much proves the Trinity is a man-made-fiction, and Joseph Smith was right al along!
..........................
Question 2: What did Christ mean in John 10:34 when he was accused of being a man who made himself a God; and in reply when he quoted Psalms 82:6 claiming that man who received the word of God was a God?
Answer A: Obviously, Christ was having a Joe Biden moment and didn’t know what he was talking about.
...or...
Answer B: I don’t know teppe; apparently Christ did acknowledge that Man could be a type of a God. I apologize for falsely accusing you of being non-biblical for believing that Man could be a type of a God. I guess Joseph Smith was right all along!
................
.... but alas .... I know that you’ll dismiss this question and slip right along to at least 25 of your other accusations.

Do you understand now why. after a preveiw of your post, your onely religion appears to ber Anti-Mormon-Cultist?It only takes a few moments of seeing what Mormonism was based on, to understand that it is Anti- Christian; even though it now wants the mantel of 'chrsitianity' to hide under?
Questions put to Joseph Smith:
"'Do you believe the Bible?' [Smith:]'If we do, we are the only people under heaven that does, for there are none of the religious sects of the day that do'.
When asked 'Will everybody be damned, but Mormons'? [Smith replied] 'Yes, and a great portion of them, unless they repent, and work righteousness."
"for the teachers of religion of the different sects understood the same passages of scripture so differently as to destroy all confidence in settling the question by an appeal to the Bible" (from Pearl of Great Price 1:12).
"What is it that inspires professors of Christianity generally with a hope of salvation? It is that smooth, sophisticated influence of the devil, by which he deceives the whole world"
Brigham Young stated this repeatedly:
"When the light came to me I saw that all the so-called Christian world was grovelling in darkness" (Journal of Discourses Section 5 page 73);
"The Christian world, so-called, are heathens as to the knowledge of the salvation of God" (Journal of Discourses Section 8 page 171);
"With a regard to true theology, a more ignorant people never lived than the present so-called Christian world" (Journal of Discourses Section 8 page 199);
"Should you ask why we differ from other Christians, as they are called, it is simply because they are not Christians as the New Testament defines Christianity" (Journal of Discourses Section 10 page 230).
"And who is there that acknowledges [God's] hand? ...You may wander east, west, north, and south, and you cannot find it in any church or government on the earth, except the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" (Journal of Discourses Section 6 page 24);
President John Taylor stated:
"Christianity...is a perfect pack of nonsense...the devil could not invent a better engine to spread his work than the Christianity of the nineteenth century." (Journal of Discourses , Section 6 page 167);
"Where shall we look for the true order or authority of God? It cannot be found in any nation of Christendom." (Journal of Discourses , Section 10 page 127).
President Joseph Fielding Smith said:
"Doctrines were corrupted, authority lost, and a false order of religion took the place of the gospel of Jesus Christ, just as it had been the case in former dispensations, and the people were left in spiritual darkness." (Doctrines of Salvation, p.266).
"For hundreds of years the world was wrapped in a veil of spiritual darkness, until there was not one fundamental truth belonging to the place of salvation ...Joseph Smith declared that in the year 1820 the Lord revealed to him that all the 'Christian' churches were in error, teaching for commandments the doctrines of men" (Doctrines of Salvation, vol. 3, p.282).
President George Q. Cannon said:
"After the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was organized, there were only two churches upon the earth. They were known respectively as the Church of the Lamb of God and Babylon. The various organizations which are called churches throughout Christendom, though differing in their creeds and organizations, have one common origin. They all belong to Babylon" (Gospel Truth, p.324). <-- can't find an onlink link, but there ARE a lot of hard copy books for sale that include this quote.
President Wilford Woodruff stated:
"the Gospel of modern Christendom shuts up the Lord, and stops all communication with Him. I want nothing to do with such a Gospel, I would rather prefer the Gospel of the dark ages, so called" (Journal of Discourses , Section 2, page 196).

“wealth leaving the people.”
One reason I’m re reading The Great Crash 1929, 40 years after I first read it.
Hard to see how our economy can do well, with the high amount of economic activity that has halted.
The Great Depression started well after the crash of 29.
