When Hugh took over the Bill Bennett time slot and moved to D.C. he went on to add a T.V. presence w NBC. He decided to enlarge his audience it was necessary to appear more "moderate". He didn't discuss the transition, but long time listeners couldn't help but notice the change in posture and tone.

I turned this Romney-loving RINO off years ago. I used to like the show because he often had interesting guests. I first heard of author Vince Flynn during an interview on the show, which led to me reading all his books. However, as time went on, it was obvious that Hewitt did not want to hear from real conservatives and simply promotes the RINO message.
