It was only a matter of time people start protecting themselves from deadly attacks.
We all need to start consider start carrying. The shooter retreated the attackers follow him and started beating on him. At one point it was three on one with a forth about to arrive.
Thank god for the video he will need that to defend himself against any charges.

Probably so. but better in jail alive with a good self-defense case and lawyer, than killed by some thug....check.
If I were on the jury he’d be automatically Not Guilty.
I have said since the before the Boston Marathon Bombings (remember those!) that Abraham Zapruder deserved a Presidential Medal of Freedom for keeping his hand steady during the JFK assassination.
If that happened today everyone would have had their cell phones out but the footage all would have been worthless because it would have been pandemonium.

Hmmm, lots of questions here. Will wait to see what the investigation says. I am all for be being armed, but I dont go looking for a fight. Not saying this guy did, but what was he doing there in the middle of the Antifa crowd? What prompted the initial argument and at what point did he pull his gun out. Seems like it was out for a while before it was used, which may play in his favor. Or may not depending on what happened at he very beginning. The start of the video is just chaos.
I couldn’t tell who was doing what to whom.

What’s amazing is the police are there with a fully-armed SWAT team close by and do NOTHING to stop the rioting and vandalism....crazy. Another insane female lib in charge...the worst kind.

Agreed, self defense. A large violent mob, he’s been physically attacked at least once already. He’s told “I’ll f**king kill you!” That’s a direct verbal threat on his life. Someone approaches him with a potentially deadly weapon... End the threat, lethal force 100% unquestionably justified.
NM is shall-issue and open-carry? a guy with a gun was attacked by a guy with a skateboard, goaded on by a nearby crowd of others?
The problem is that we live in perpendicular universes with these little demons. And, right now, their leaders are calling the shots. So to speak.
That will change. When? Only God knows.
But, He always brings order out of chaos. Sometimes it only takes six days, other times it takes longer.
When we first moved to Phoenix, at 6AM on a Sunday morning, a local vagrant helped himself to my daughter’s scooter, which she got for $8 at the Goodwill, and had stored in our walled backyard.
I guessed at his likely direction and found him. I was MAD, and walked ran towards him, shouting. He dropped the scooter, and I found myself picking it up (razor style scooters are light) and wielded it over his head. He was afraid. I couldn’t call the police (they were prompt) and keep him from running away, but I realized then that the size, weight and material in those scooters make them a rather effective weapon.
I never saw that vagrant again.
Shooter did everything he could to avoid conflict. The perp brought it to him and shooter responded.

Thats the viewpoint of the average person in a violent event. They lose it and are unable to focus. On the other hand, the guy with the gun had been hit by a skateboard, was walking away, and then was jumped by people screaming “I’m gonna f****ing kill you”.
Yeah, now if he keeps his mouth shut, he’ll get acquitted in a couple of years.

The man attacked was named BACA a common hispanic name in NM. In a majority hispanic state hopefully the BLM browd may find that Hispanic lives matter in the area. NM is an open carry and concealed carry state.
They are trying to paint the guy as a militia member being vigilante when it was a clear cut self defense from one of the NM governors BLM pets that she has stupidly attached herself to.
I think the governors taking the BLM hype under her wing in this hispanic state and aligning herself with terrorists trying to tear down hispanic cultural statues like Onate's will come back to bite her. On one hand she touts herself as a 12th generation Onate period background and is defending killing off her heritage by BLM marxists.
Will be interesting to see her maneuver herself with the heavy La Raza contingent she used to get her into office with her newfound anti-hispanic attitude.
