A glass of dairy milk produces almost three times more greenhouse gas than any plant-based milk. But vegan options have drawbacks of their own.
For environmentally minded consumers, the news is hard to swallow: almond milk is not healthy for the planet and the popular milk substitute is especially hard on bees. Our recent investigation into the connection between Californias industrialized almond industry and a record 50bn commercial bee deaths created quite a buzz. The widely read story prompted one primary response from readers: What should we be drinking instead?
This is a thorny question, and food sustainability experts are reluctant to single out any one plant milk as best because all have pros and cons.
But were going to try.
. . . . . . . . . . .
Drink what you want, says Emery. If youre going with plant milk instead of animal milk, youve already addressed most of the environmental problems that your animal milk habit was causing.

However, there is some milk in things like cheese, whole-fat yogurt and butter. That is how grown-ups get their milk.
Cow milk? Goat milk?
I couldn’t care less about green house gases.
What I want to know is whether pasteurization kills coronavirus. And what is safe to drink.
Milk and bread are two of the foods that I don’t cook. Although I may start making my own bread soon.

Adults do not need milk-milk is for babies and small kids-I don’t like sweets, so no cookies, thank you-but nobody better try to stop me from having cheese and butter-as a side note-out here where I am, raw cow’s milk and also goat milk is available-goat milk is favored by moms whose kids have digestive issues...
These vegans don’t understand that most people think they are nuts-and we don’t care about cow farts...

Organic grass fed cow milk, or fresh Nubian goat milk with chocolate cake or cookies. It’s a Godly thing.
I use real cream in my coffee.
Sure there is: All of the above at the same time. Put the Cake on top of the Chocolate Chip Cookie and then top it off with the Brownie then hide the mountain with Real Whipped Cream, drizzle Carmel Sauce to finish it off.😷🇺🇸
Petunia says dont forget to have Your Glucose Test Kit handy.🤪
