During a COVID-19 update on Friday, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer reiterated that sports fans won't be able to fill stadiums until a vaccine is available.
In the Friday press conference, Whitmer responded to a reporter's question about what conditions she thought that professional and college sports would be able to return to Michigan.
"I think that we're going to be in a new normal for quite a while," Whitmer said. "We need a vaccine, and we need to have mask quantities available or we need to be able to test and acknowledge that we've got some immunity that's built up. We're not there yet."

In a statement given to Newsweek, the governor's press secretary, Tiffany Brown, said that stadium reopenings will depend on data and medical experts. "Medical experts have made it clear that COVID-19 spreads when people are in close contact with one another, and without a vaccine, our best strategy in combating the virus is to practice social distancing. In regards to stadiums, our administration will continue to make informed decisions on re-engagement based upon data and medical expertise," she said.

I just don’t think that will be the case...there are far too many people wanting their freedom to work, enjoy pleasures and get back to daily living without putting up with all this unending nonsense.
‘Please list the vaccines that kick ass (more than 90% effective) against viruses.’
90% is a ridiculous benchmark to set in order to verify the efficacy of vaccines; but we can assert that the following viruses have responded well to vaccination; like mumps, measles, rubella, chickenpox, polio, smallpox, hep A, hep B, shingles, tetanus...there are more, should you care to research...
I don’t care to research. That’s why I asked you ;-)
I was thinking that if she kills off the Lions, she may get a lot of voter support, then I saw your post. Beat me to it.
Unfortunately the most likely outcome is someone else even worse than her will take her place. Ask yourself, what state, what city, what municipal government has gone completely corrupt and then done a 180 and recovered to be a completely honest, virtuous entity, serving the people?
I ask this same question of those who support term limits. Give me an example of where it has turned things around. Where has a corrupt government entity been turned around by term limits?
Available is one thing.....
Mandating that everyone get vaccinated is totally another thing
Michigan fans will NEVER tolerate not being able to watch Michigan lose this fall....
When is she up for re-election? Or does Michigan have a recall procedure to use to get her out of office?
I refuse to take an untested, unproven, dangerous so-called vaccine.
I want a supply of hydroxychloroquine.
Make it easy to obtain.
Half Whitmer looks more like Diana from “V”.
The Wolverines will have to play all away games.
Wait till college football season begins! They think that they are going to keep the fans out of the stadiums?
One thing at a time.
Her current prize is the forced “show of papers” that you’ve allowed yourself to be penetrated by the “Mark of the Beast” to enter a Michigan sports arena.
Digging for papers probably won’t be necessary. Some external device will detect the antibodies at a distance, but if not, leaving a droplet of your blood from a finger jab will surely suffice.
Mommy sez, no stadium tickee without getting a stickee!
Unbeknownst to most people, I suspect, is how the Pharmacy Board, hospitals, doctor and nursing groups are under the sway of the globalists in absolutely making HCQ prescriptions much harder to obtain.
As with all past virus epidemics, this one will run its course long before a vaccine is discovered. By then, it will be merely incidental........
B!tch be crazy.
