Myths I see in the common culture:
We haven’t arrested you yet, so you don’t need a lawyer.
You know you have to talk to us or you are obstructing an investigation.
And you had better not lie to us, or that is another crime.
How can you answer if the first line of it states: “You have the right to remain silent ....” With that, I wouldn’t say a word. Period. Will make your lawyer happy also.

Maybe as far as this ruling goes wrt Miranda, but it is BS for anything else. If this were true AND RECOGNIZED for all Constitutional Rights, then lots of laws need to be tossed...particularly all of these lockdowns and about every gun control regulation in teh country...
