Proper hoarding should include many items that most folks have not thought about:

https://www.zerohedge.com/health/staying-ahead-shortages-what-stock-coming-year

Reasons to hoard include:

—Future inflation—great way to minimize its impact if you stock up on durable goods you know you will need

—Supply chain disruptions—current and future—good idea to have extras of anything you will always use and need

Hoarding is also important for small business for both reasons. You do not want to be crippled by affordability or availability of critical supplies/parts needed for the business.

I believe that if it were perfected, a lot more of the victims would be dead. The Chicomms were tinkering with a coronavirus, and before they could perfect it, some idiot spilled it.

TX

Austin has topped 2K.

Little rural Mason Co. (pop. 4000) keeps ticking up today with 28 people the partying mayor has infected.

Burnet Co. also has been chalking up one a day or so recently to 26.

Brown Co. residents have little faith in their hospital and little testing. 38 cases and 6 deaths.

Surprisingly, Coryell Col. only has 295 cases and 2 deaths. That's Ft. Hood.

The panhandle is not doing well at all with 1000 deaths. Jones Co. (pop. 20k) has 87 cases. Amarillo jumped another 87 cases yesterday and more tests pending to reach nearly 1500. The Tyson chicken plant is still closed and a "strike force" is testing the employees. For some reason, there seems to be a significant muslim population there. https://www.texasobserver.org/the-strangers-next-door-amarillo-refugees/ "“Amarillo is building Muslim ‘ghettos,’” the conservative news site Watchdog.org baldly asserted in a January report. “Amarillo now sports the dubious title of having the country’s highest ratio of refugees from Middle East nations,” Breitbart Texas reported, wrongly. “It is about Sharia Law!” one popular refugee critic warned. “This is how it begins.”"

n my neighborhood, when the schools shut down all the kids came to all the grandparents’ homes. They all played together between 2 subdivisions. Everyone at everyone else’s houses, eating, sleepovers, running the neighborhood, etc. spreading who knows what germs. Then the parents show up to see them on the weekends bringing in even more germs and taking family trips to hang out at Wally World and renting boats and water toys that are likely infected from the previous rental. If granny’s house is too crowded, then the parents stay at weekend rental within the subdivision. Or they pack everyone up and go to the beach like that moron mayor in Mason Co., TX. Or mama stops in at the salon that keeps opening and dad goes to the gambling joint that also is defying the shut down.

No one, that I see, ever stayed home.

I seriously doubt this monster will mutate itself out of existance.

Somehow all those deaths are within the acceptable range.

Even one death should not be acceptable.

It should be common knowledge to not lock your furbabies inside with you if you have CV.

Of course, they’re saying WHO says CV came from animals. BS. A mild form may have come from a specific bat in China but what’s out there today came straight from a bio weapons lab and has nothing to do with little miss kitty.

Betcha there will be an even greater “backlog” of cases and deaths being hidden to keep the opening up going.

in case you guys didnt see this

a poster here has young grandson. dont know how young.

couldnt get a test at the hospital. only had 3 of 4 symptoms.

I asked if Fever was the one he didnt have.

The response was that it was 100.. and they wanted something like 100.4

So I am guessing that was the one symptom he didnt have.

She said he was healthy and doing okay so far

I didnt want to scare that poster and say this virus is the Devil and could make him crash tomorrow...or he could be okay.

This lack of testing is really hacking me off. That kid should have been tested.

and what about people like me that average 96.5 to 97.5 as a normal temperature. 100 would be very high for me.

Just another reason to stay in.

I simply don’t understand all the whining going on about wearing a mask. Fauci, Adams and on down, “Masks are dangerous in the hands of someone not in the medical field.” Non-medical I gots muh rights person and wimps, “I touch my face more with a mask than without.”

Strange, I touch my face less. Sure, it is a bit harder to breathe when up moving strenuously but isn’t such a burden that I’d take it off in the middle of Wally World (not that I’ve been to Wally World lately).

Did you see the guy in South Korea, single handedly responsible for getting stuff closed down again-he went to 5 nightclubs, 2 convenience stores-so far responsible for 13 infections but they estimate he came into contact with 2000 people.

I just read that article. I want what he's wearing.

I saw where the author wrote, "flying has always been unpleasant.

I instantly tweeted to him that actually, flying used to be quite pleasant. Before globalism. Before the TSA. Before people wore their pajamas. Before a lot of things.

I went for cat food yesterday at 7am when they opened. They had converted part of the space in the meat counter to seafood. Had 3 chubs of ground Chuck, no whole chickens. Lots of drumsticks, gizzards, and paws.

Call ‘em paws. Call ‘em claws, but I’m not eating no chicken feet!

Not the least bit surprised. They should have been locked in at work for at least a two week stretch so they’d have less outside contacts. Live at work for two weeks and be relieved by another group who had already been in clean quarantine for the previous two weeks. Let group one go home and put group three into clean quarantine.

Same with the POTUS and VP’s personal staff. And for goodness sake, put a mask on and get off that crowded press room stage.

Yeah, I know. I’m talking to myself.

Reagan had 10.8% and obamy had 10% unemployment. That was during normal times. This 14.7% seems positively wonderful considering what’s going on.

Even one death should not be acceptable.

Not it should not. People will sadly die from COVID-19 before and after states un-restrict activities.

Minimize and reduce risk of serious illness and death from COVID-19. That is the most reasonable course of action.

They need to not get it EVER.

They need to take much, much better precautions.

Don’t step back into the same dirty spot after getting shoes sprayed. And then onto the supposed clean mat which is likely just as germy as the sidewalk.

Take the back pack off before being sprayed. Spray backpack. Spray the kid’s back and legs.

The pink woman shouldn’t touch the child. The other woman shouldn’t touch the child. The child is old enough to follow so shouldn’t have to hold hands.
