Exactly. Why is this so hard to understand? If people would do the right thing, we wouldn’t have to take these measures. The people are complaining about masks are the same ones who hollered not to stop flights because of the economy, “it’s just the flu”, “it’s a hoax”, etc and “it only killed Asians”. Well, look where that has gotten us. With early border closures, testing and contact tracing, we would not have had to shut anything down masse. Our economy would have been much better off.
The pushback against early measures has led us to this point and pushback against masks will lead us to something worse. If people cannot even compromise on the simple, painless, selfless measure of masks and distancing, we are looking at more lockdowns and potential crashed healthcare.
They seem to think somehow this virus has changed. The government is trying to find a way to open up and be safe, to respect freedom while respecting the next persons right not to get sick. They have to balance not crashing healthcare with not crashing the economy. It is a not an easy job. But the anarchists on FR are saying they won’t comply with anything that helps their fellow man. They are literally ready for it all to burn down.
Crashing the healthcare will crash the economy. Millions of middle age people in the hospital will crash the economy. It’s not even about deaths. do these people not have kids or grandkids that they worry about becoming sterile?
IMO they are CCP agitators, liberals with extreme TDS, anarchists ready to throw off all laws, or they are ignorant. What they aren’t, are conservatives.
Understand this:
The elites want you dead. But first, they want your money.
However they have to accomplish that.
There’s a vaccine for influenza. If masks were effective for that (and they are) they wouldn’t sell as much vaccine.
It’s about profit and population reduction.
The ‘no mask’ policy drives the eventual mandatory vaccination policy.
You’ll be one of the ones sending out the national guard to force vaccinate refusers. Just so you can justify not wearing a mask...because ‘muh rights’ not to wear a mask are more important than someone elses right to refuse a vaccine.

No efforts being made to really keep it out of their nursing homes, the workers are FORBIDDEN to wear masks or gloves or even use hand sanitizer. Because they don’t want to ‘frighten’ the residents. Washing their hands with soap is the only precaution allowed for the workers.
Also, nursing homes are FORBIDDEN to refer any residents to the hospital for CV symptoms. If you’re old enough/sick enough to be in a nursing home you’re death paneled. No treatments of any kind for you for CV.
I mean really, they have to find a way to pay for the ‘new immigrant 2nd wife’ and her 7 kids to live.
