Corona Virus Daily Thread #49 COVID-19 4/30/2020
Actually its tailored originally to kill off all those with cancer caused by Fukushima. Coverup of the coverup. Then the Chinese put their flair on it. Lol.
Everyone needs a haircut except the bald
Bangs have become hairstyles
” I can only do so much and its not worth it to me to sacrifice my mental health over these types of details. I wont treat my home like a biohazard level 4 lab. “
LOL. Some people with multiple comorbidities apparently have good reason to do that but not me. I don’t even treat my house like a level 0 or level 1 lab. Sometimes it is like an open pathogen lab. Sorry, clean freaks. In fact, as soon as evidence of aerosol or even airborne transmission exists (which it has), there’s little reason to bother with any of that unless you live literally in a bubble. Just keep the viral load you ingest/inhale down. No need for a normal person to worry about individual virons. Worry about swarms of virons.
If you want to eat at a restaurant in Austin, it is mandatory to wear a face mask.
Someone didn’t think that through.
At ages 61 && 63, we're both in the risk range. My wife is a Type 1 diabetic. I've had 7 cases of pneumonia on top of Valley Fever and rheumatoid arthritis. We both work long hours. Any concern about outliving our retirement resources is balanced by the prospect that COVID-19 makes the concern a moot point.
Governments are rid of the burden of "useless eaters". On the other end, the infertility caused by COVID-19 and vaccines like Gardasil will have the abortion clinics closing up shop. Less need for schools too. The anti-human left will be thrilled.
“No, We Dont Need To Foster A Culture Of Snitching To Stay Safe - Some public officials seem to think its okay to encourage neighbors to rat each other out over stay-at-home orders. Its not.”

Agree. I wash my hands a lot and wipe surfaces down with disinfecting wipes. I wear a mask when I got out, sanitize my hands after shopping and putting everything away, but that’s as far as I’m gonna take it. I’m 57, no underlying conditions, eat right, sleep 8 hours a night and exercise. It is what it is.
Oh, good! I can try out my flapper model mask.
/S
Geeeeeez.
That makes him the 2nd major Prime Minister hospitalized by this bug. Only 54, but looks a bit on the heavy side. Hope he’s OK. I suspect if it were minor we would have never heard about it.
“I wear a mask in a store to help ensure that other people dont get the virus from me, should I have already picked it up somewhere else.”
If you aren’t coughing, sneezing or talking how would sufficient amounts of the virus be transmitted anyway?
That is very thoughtful of you but hardly productive as to your intention. According to what I have read, any touching of a hard surface, whether wearing a mask with good intent, can infect the virus to you. With or without a mask, there is no guarantee that a person is free of the china virus. Any contact, whether with a person or surface of any sort, can produce a positive for infection. Just take care of yourself and you will not infect anybody or you may have just picked it up from somebody also wearing the mask. I think the current wearing of a mask to either prevent the spread of the virus might be a positive in either dirction for a highly infectious area of the country. Also public awarness of the need for personal hygeine is absolutely a good thing, but no assurance that mask wearing will prevent getting or spreading the virus. You obviously have a good heart and that is a blessing for you and the rest of us.
Just use a larger bottle top for the insert.
Plexiglass at the front counter is coming at some point in preparation for reopening dining area. Definitely no hurry on this, everyones keeping a close eye on what happens with GA reopening.
On a different note, the coop addition is now functional. Its made of recycled fence boards, so it needs a good pressure wash and coat of paint. A tin roof is coming soon too. So, this addition is basically for chicks too small to free range but too big for the brooder. Here is a pic:
