I’ll tell you though, that I saw an awful lot of masks today as I was doing my food shopping.

Of course, we have a lot of seniots here in SW Florida, and they no doubt feel threatened.

But I won’t wear one until I’m forced to.

a mask is to protect other people...not you...its a courtesy as well, so when you cough or sneeze you don't freak everyone out....

its like washing your hands after you use the bathroom...you're protecting others when you stay clean...

I expect to see it on older people and out here in Omaha, I do. Some workers at the few businesses open have them.

But we are volunteers in NE, not under the jackboot of ...um...normal governors.

But don’t be fooled, as I’m sure Ricketts is for open borders for cheap labor.

That’s a fact. The opportunity to cross contaminate yourself during the removal in the car or at home is hugh. ie. Wash hands and clean what you brought home and your transportation. It ain’t foolproof but at least you didn’t sneeze or cough on someone or something. Nothing is bulletproof but it’s a try.

My mother in law wears a mask due to the virus when she goes to the grocery store. She’s 62 and has a serious heart issue. You want to make fun of her? Why? Because you’re a miserable POS?

I see mostly black women and the elderly wearing masks.

And, well, who could blame them.

I did laugh myself silly at a young guy in WM wearing a mask and ski goggles.

I also saw a woman wearing a straw hat that had plastic draped over it that fell down to her shoulders.
