When Tylenol was recalled in 2010 the manufacturing was to getting people sick there was support here for the nationalization of the manufacturing and Johnson & Johnson (owners) was also in support of it which was surprising.
The CDC determined the equipment was full of bacteria. The operation was returned to J&J in 2015.
This wasn't under a time of emergency though it had "some" support here which I was surprised. I was in the mind set of let the operation close down. Let the competition win.

The Chinese management were probably distributing mists/aerosols/contaminated wipes to compromise the product and packaging. I wouldnt even want to consume something from a Chines-owned company. Kick them OUT of U.S.....sell off the company to highest US bidder...

Nationalize them yesterday.
Partner, why do we even have these Chicoms owning any of our Food Plants.
The Chicoms never play fair and they are having a real problem with our President Trump. This is what it is all about and they do not want President Trump to win come this November.
I have got some important news to yall, President Trump will get re-elected in November of this year. How do you like them apples?
The liberals do not want President Trump since he will call the shots on the next USSC Justices and the DemonRat party knows that little piece of information.

Of course China will take 10x that back from our companies investments over there, but that was probably the end game anyway.
Your mistake is believing they are “our companies.” Multi-national corps HQ’d in the US ceased being American a long time ago.

So-called conservatives are now losing their respect for private property rights? So sad to hear. It is not constitutional to nationalize industry. One can choose not to buy from them, but one should not go all Castro on them.
To: kaktuskid
Nationalize them No, that's not really a good idea.

At this point it is merely one nation dispossessing another. The corporation in possession is just a front for the Chicom government. If our government nationalized it, it is exchanging one nationalization for another.

Isn’t that what the ChiComs did to foreign owned businesses, recently?
In a time of war.....and, we are at war.
The real issue....is how we’ve ever come to allow a COMMUNIST country own anything to do with our food supply.
And, while we’re at it....how did we EVER allow a COMMUNIST country to make our vital Rx meds and med supplies?
We threw fits when there was melamine in our ChiCom made pet food....yet, we let them make our freaking Rx meds, med supplies, med and regular electronics, etc?

How many non-ChiCom meat packing plants do we have, here, in the USA?
Asking for about 330 million friends.
