This is Laredo. While the PoPo was out arresting these dangerous criminals a couple of thousand dollars worth of drugs drove right through town.

I haven’t heard about any heavy-handed actions like this in Houston, but I’m not surprised it is going on in the Valley.

Same police who won’t hold illegal immigrants or do the “work” of the Federales.

Its nice to get a taste of authoritarianism every now and again, just to remind you how foul it is.

‘no business purposes therefore they would simply be hosting one friend at a time.’

in PA, if someone were to do that, they could be arrested for violating the social distancing mandate of six feet...

Houston now has some Czars to take care of the management of this crisis. Apparently neither the elected mayor or elected county judge weren’t up to the task.

Then again Houston’s 28 year old carpetbagging County Judge has no experience.

Coming next month,

A speech to the poor and minorities by a state or city government employee with a steady paycheck even in the Covid-19 crisis, talking about their plight. Hahaha

Interestingly enough, the Home Depot is open until 6PM today in Laredo and that’s fine, because they sell “essential for life” things. Hey, I’ve seen the candy racks and soda coolers on the check out line, don’t knock it.

It’s just a new term for many different agencies working together. What that tells you, is that it took a lot of cooperation between state, city and maybe even federal agencies to take down this “perpetrator” and “bring them to justice.”

Task force: police, sheriff, FBI, ATF, DEA, post office, IRS, DHS etc. working together to make you safe.

Do you feel safer now?

Maybe we can make a TV show about this or it could be a new episode on Law and Order. Hahahaha

They should put Social Media to work and rally ALL Stylist, Salons,... to vow to NEVER SERVE ANOTHER PUBLIC EMPLOYEE or SPOUSE of one.

Well, you learned something. Don't pretend it isn't so.

I'll bet the underground under communists worked better than the naive underground in the US.

All,

I need help coming up with a cartel like street name for this couple.

Can you help with this?

I think the DA’s office and all those in law enforcement involved in this case need to be highlighted for their awesome effort.

Just in case- I’m being cynical.

“What is scary is neighbors ratting out others Soviet style.”

I agree.

That is because a lot of people feel like they are better (more ethical) than the man next to them when they follow a rule a little more closely or scream the prescribed narrative a bit louder.

It’s the natural consequence of not knowing what is truly immoral and moral, right from wrong... etc.

I hadn’t heard about that. I just looked the guy up, Armando Walle. Good Lord. The guy’s resume seems to consist of serving in the state legislature representing a one-party crap-heap district in northern Houston. He is so influential, he can’t even get the City of Houston to annex the horrible “East Aldine” cesspool in his district.

He is apparently now a “practicing attorney” who graduated from law school some time after 2013. But I’ve never heard of him and I am pretty active in the Houston bar.

Not one hint in his resume that he is qualified to be the “czar” of anything, let alone restarting the economy of a county with a population over 4.7 million and a GDP near $400 billion. Seems just up Lina Hidalgo’s alley.
