Houston now has some Czars to take care of the management of this crisis. Apparently neither the elected mayor or elected county judge weren’t up to the task.
Then again Houston’s 28 year old carpetbagging County Judge has no experience.
I hadn’t heard about that. I just looked the guy up, Armando Walle. Good Lord. The guy’s resume seems to consist of serving in the state legislature representing a one-party crap-heap district in northern Houston. He is so influential, he can’t even get the City of Houston to annex the horrible “East Aldine” cesspool in his district.
He is apparently now a “practicing attorney” who graduated from law school some time after 2013. But I’ve never heard of him and I am pretty active in the Houston bar.
Not one hint in his resume that he is qualified to be the “czar” of anything, let alone restarting the economy of a county with a population over 4.7 million and a GDP near $400 billion. Seems just up Lina Hidalgo’s alley.
