When do you think President Trump will reopen the economy and enable us to go back to work? Early May? Late May? June?

That’s what I was going to say. I think May 1st is a good day for everyone to go to their state capitol and protest.

All that's required is someone to organize it.

Trump doesn’t make this call; state governors do.

States with GOP governors are likely to be open significantly earlier than those with Dem governors. Push to get everything open at the beginning of May, any later will just be gratuitous damage to the economy.

It’s easy. Post on social media. Spread the word among small business owners.

Yeah, but if those Dem governors had any brains, they’d know that if they keep things shut down too long, they’ll get their sorry asses handed to them in the next elections.

The viruses or their bacterial allies are catching on to our evolving defenses. Pasta. Humans have pasta. Lots and lots of pasta. And ramen, which is close enough, and goes well with frozen peas and carrots.

Hang in there Big Red. Just don’t get tangled up in any white sheets. There’d be hell to pay if they charged you with being a racist, Klanner, or U.S. Senator.

I don’t have a pitchfork either. I do have a garden rake, but I’m thinking my .22 might be more effective.

One of my sons works making conveyor systems for industrial and warehousing. They had been working mandatory weekends for the past year.
Now they’re back to a 40 hour work week and talking about a 32 hour week.

Most of what they’re working on now is bound for California for shipping overseas. Korea, Vietnam, anywhere businesses are leaving China for.
They even have orders for Brazil.
With everything locked down nothing is shipping.

If things don’t break loose pretty soon he might not have a job.

As soon as there is an acceptable treatment available for anyone that gets sick.

There is.

We should open sometime this week as initially discussed especially where cases are very low. There are still countries that have none or next to no cases.

I wish you luck. My guess is that while Trump wants to start opening up in many areas now, he will shoot for May 1.

“Trump is not going to “reopen” anything - he’s not the one who shut things down. You need to check with your governor or local county commissions or mayor for that info.”

“Trump doesn’t make this call; state governors do.”

“States with GOP governors are likely to be open significantly earlier than those with Dem governors. Push to get everything open at the beginning of May, any later will just be gratuitous damage to the economy”.

Texas opens next week. I suspect subsequent openings will start in southern states, connect with states barely touched, and creep north.

Summer’s sun helps to decimate exposed viruses, and helps build vitamin D.

Our workforce is composed of those with the best survival factors.

The compromised and elderly will need to continue anti CCP-virus practices, and to stay sheltered.
