Last Thursday March 26, 2020 the biggest fake news story perhaps in the past year, was all over the tv news, including Fox News. The evening news programs reported that America has the most cases of COVID-19 in the world, which apparently is the CCP’s propaganda line. This story, although unlikely and illogical, and entirely unproveable, but was presented as factual.
Now think about this for one minute: China has 1.4 billion people, USA 340 million. The virus has been prevalent there much longer. The Chinese have a history of lying. Why would anyone believe them? Hillary Clinton mocked the President for being #1 in CV-19 cases. This story was very unlikely to be true,had no documentation, yet no one challenged it. It was on every news program. Where did this story come from? Is this Chinese propaganda? Why did no one look at it skeptically?

I’m now fairly convinced this whole thing was a scam. A similar story:
There was a guy that would come on to Coast to Coast about 20 years ago and always accuately predict earthquakes on the “ring of fire”. It was amazing. Sure, some of them were not very big, but it always happened. Then one day I did some research (as search engines came of age) and discovered there is constant activity on the ring, so all predictions will come true.
Well, looks like that is what has happened here. We have been bamboozled. This sort of virus happens every year.
for all we know, many of last year’s deaths were this same virus.

When it comes to taking on the Chicoms over this I really think we should be ‘leading from behind’ on this one. They were affected just as much and if this doesn’t raise their hackles we should pull out of Europe and Asia. I say form a league of Democracies with no military pacts.

The number of cases is going up very slowly. Today’s number is not all in, yet, but I’m sure it won’t go much higher. Yesterday’s total was 212,747. And besides, look at the deaths to recoveries ratio—not bad at all.

On that night Garth Brooks was awarded the Library of Congress Gershwin Award for Popular Song. It was held in an auditorium full of people. No social distancing. Lots of hugging, hand shaking, etc.

I am still trying to find out how many fatalities there were from the Tienenmen Squart massacre.
It came from China (false data) first into the boardrooms full of people in our own media who hate Donald Trump.
Every potential story in our media has to be viewed with a filter because they frame every story to take shots at the President.

This is your explanation. Our own media is parroting propaganda from China so that they can claim the US has the most cases and criticize Trump for it.
“Reported cases.” All the anecdotal and video info leakage from China suggest strongly that their Reported Cases understate their problem by a multiple, perhaps a large multiple.
I actually was taken in by the reports for a number of hours, before I started thinking about the absurdity of the push and tone of the story. Then my next thoughts were "how would they ever know", and "why are they using this tone, reporting something like this that can never be proved, nor disproved"?

At best it’s misleading and what is “reported” is government specific so if you believe the Chinese and every other country than I guess you buy into the BS.
Good question. Do you have any hypothesis for why Trump has done this? Usually discussions like this go better if the person raising the question has a hypothesis.
