On that night Garth Brooks was awarded the Library of Congress Gershwin Award for Popular Song. It was held in an auditorium full of people. No social distancing. Lots of hugging, hand shaking, etc.

Members of the audience include members of Congress (Pelosi, McCarthy, Stonyer, Lehey, etc) and others.

Now I’m supposed to believe in one month the end is near?

Good question. Do you have any hypothesis for why Trump has done this? Usually discussions like this go better if the person raising the question has a hypothesis.
