I finally had it and decided to deactivate Facebook. It seems if you have a different opinion about the economy and the coronavirus you are considered an idiot and or do you want the hospitals to be overrun with people and everybody will die because of you.
It seems there are a lot of people who are lemmings to the government that I didn't know where. They scream and scream about staying inside and listening to your governor!! and there's a lot of people who are just fat and happy watching Netflix and working from home and not worrying about anything else but what foods are going to eat nine times a day.
Nobody talks about the suicide hotline being 300% up in phone calls, people losing their homes and jobs, and people just losing their minds being inside of the house. It seems the cure is worse than the virus. all these people seem to have the same mindset that if you save one life it's okay to crash the entire economy. I've had it with these people.

I have never done Facebook. But my wife loves it and it turned her from a moderate into a conservative. Her friends there are very to the right and she believes them.
They’ll start talking about it when the riots happen later this month. Be sure to pre-plan your looting shopping season.
Depends on who your friends are.
The Borg.
Welcome to the club. I personally joined FB and Twitter solely for the purposes of supporting Donald Trump in his election bid. When he won, I deleted both accounts immediately afterward. I haven’t missed them for a moment. I’ve got far better things to do with my time.
When you love your house its a lot less likely you go nuts being in it. If you can’t have alone time/quiet time and be just with your own thoughts though, that’s when it gets hard.

So your problem is ... that everyone just doesn’t agree with you and therefore you want to deactivate FB.
To each his own ... but I use FB to keep up with distant friends. It is excellent for that purpose. I don’t do politics on FB and unfollow people that get overly political.
Believe it or not there is life outside politics.
I joined FACEBOOK eons ago, maybe 13-4 years ago but I got tired of it very fast.
Then when it got to be SO popular I started getting WAY TOO MUCH stuff from people who used FACEBOOK way, way too much ...and I stopped answering them.
The FACEBOOK messages have FINALLY stopped....glory be.
Never had facebook. No desire to be on it.
All the stories I hear coming from it are bad.
A coworker once said: “Just say ‘no’ to faceplant.”
Excerpt? There’s more?
That's much like it is here on FR.
All knew there would be a manipulated market crash. Market crashed.
The left: Party over life.
The right: Okay.
Dont use FB, or any other social media, for that matter, to get your news or try to otherwise engage people in political matters...you will be miserable. I use it to keep track of kids and grandchildren, but gave it up for Lent and havent missed it one bit. I use phone calls, video chat, text message and actual visits in person (though mostly on hold for COVID 19) and Im much more calm.
It’s a good move to get rid of Facebook. I did it years ago, along with Twitter. I did it after a friend kept looking at his phone when we were at a football game. He was missing parts the game and generally wasn’t good company. I decided I didn’t want to become that. After two weeks of withdrawal I stopped missing it.

LOL! Very true!
Well you don’t have my friends and followers.
I feed news and opinions daily to 4500 people in Western New York.
I get trolls and block them as soon as they pop their stupid heads out of their holes.
Yawn. No sympathy for Facebook groupies.
What a concept. Does that still work? Just kidding. People need to do more of that, particularly young ones.
