Joe Bidens campaign is looking to expand its fundraising operation as it prepares to take on President Donald Trump in the general election.
Officials within Bidens organization have discussed bringing in a new group of regional fundraising advisors, including former aides to Sen. Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigiegs campaigns, who could help them expand their donor network, according to people familiar with the matter. These people declined to be named because the talks were private.
Biden had a strong March, raising more than $30 million in online donations, as the coronavirus has pushed his campaign into a fully online platform, including virtual town halls and fundraising events. This shift has made it even more imperative for the campaign to beef up its digital fundraising operation as Trump and the Republican National Committee have amassed a formidable war chest.
The RNC and Trumps campaign, along with their joint fundraising committee, combined to raise more than $86 million in the month of February, according to the RNCs press release. It was their best month of digital fundraising. The Biden campaign raised just over $18 million in the same month, while the Democratic National Committee brought in close to $12 million but is $6 million in debt.

between Soros, Bloomberg and the Chinese Sleepy Joe will have plenty of money.
so, you’re saying that they kept Bernie from getting the nomination just so they could then keep Joe from getting the nomination so . . . wait.
good Lord, you’re about to say “hillary”, aren’t you?
Joe needs to be on lock-down—in a nursing home!
The plan has always been to stop Bernie. Joe seemed to be a viable candidate, but now they're having to pivot as his mental decline becomes too obvious. The DNC apparatchik are not Hillary-friendly, so I don't think she'll be the July surprise. Cuomo was pretty adamant he wasn't interested, which means he's really interested. So we'll see.
Has anyone considered canceling this year’s presidential conventions, with the whole country under lockdown? They don’t do as much to affect the polls as they used to, since only political junkies are likely to watch. And I’ve been hearing that a bloodbath at the Democratic convention is likely anyway, so canceling it could save lives in more than one way. On the other side of the aisle, Trump is already a shoo-in for the Republican nomination, and he can get the same poll results by going to a few rallies.
“My pitch is simple: Who do you want leading this country? Donald or Joe? said one of Bidens fundraisers who works on Wall Street.”
uh, right ... i’m sure that message will resonate with wall streeters, just not the way intended ..
