ATLANTA, GAIn an effort to help curb the spread of Coronavirus, Chick-fil-a has announced that it will temporarily be changing its advertising slogan from "Eat Mor Chikin" to "Eat Fewer Bats."
The chicken sandwich chain will run public health ads and billboards with its iconic cow mascots reminding people to "eat fewer bats" and "have a delicious chicken sandwich instead." Chick-fil-A restaurants will also host "People Who Don't Eat Bats Appreciation Day," where people who come in and don't eat a bat get a free chicken sandwich.
"We're just doing our little part to stop this kind of thing from ever happening again," said CEO Dan Cathy. "You know what's much better than bats? A delicious chicken sandwich and waffle fries, especially with some Chick-fil-A sauce or Polynesian sauce if you really want to get crazy." Cathy also reminded Chick-fil-A customers that all of the restaurant's food products are 100% bat-free.
"But seriously people, stop eating bats."
The New York Times quickly published an article calling the ad campaign racist.
Dang it. It’s times like these that I wish I was back on facebook. I still wonder what it was I said or posted that got my account disabled.
Eating bats is not the problem.
Not legal to eat them.
Eating the people that ate the bats. There's the problem.
Oh... I remember Chick-fil-a. Place went homo last year...
I cut way back on eating bats. Only one or two a day now.
Really jonesin’ for some fried flying fox!

Does that mean the low-protein rats are locked up?
That’s epic. Thanks.
The higher proteins rats are crafty, and coax the low protein lot out of hiding by mocking them.
Chicken of the Cave...
Bats are being totally scapegoated here. I blame the Pangolin Lobby.
The bat eaters were never the problem. They are now pointing to a seafood stall, but more likely a live poultry vendor which is where the original CV was identified in the 60s.
After bats, maybe they can advertise against live frogs at some point —

hopefully wildlife eating ends, but can we trust the Chinese government explanation for anything? the virus might not be of pure natural origin...(like it started with a bat but could have been tampered with in one of their major lab faciliteis that happen to be in WUHAN) — and it’s the government’s fault it spread...
bttt
Now that’s funny!
