I am going to a local Nebraska State Park.
I’m going fishing. Danged lake was closed. Lady at the boat launch said the lakeshore inhabitants would call the cops on me if I fished anyway.
Tell them you gotta catch fish to eat.
Finally start our Cruise up the Atlantic ICW from Florida to the Chesapeake.
I really wasn’t expecting the domestic insanity over this. Really thought we’d have a better handle on it by the time it got here. Never expected widespread quarantines, or really even small ones. Still prepped to stay home for a while, just mainly to avoid going to the store with sickly folks.
Honestly thought things would get dodgy around mid october on. Still expecting that however. So will continue trying to prep for that event.
I gotta tell you, Easter 4/12 is going to be a blow out party wherever you go.
I fully expect this fall to be very dicey.
I do not intend to be caught off guard next time. I DO NOT trust the demcrats and they willingness to actually sacrifice the lives of Americans like you and me to further their power grab.
And I’ll start buying toilet paper as soon as it starts showing up on the shelves again. They are still out.
Wish I could go out and eat and celebrate, but many food allergies preclude that. :(
I’ll have to stick with supporting the 2nd amendment and the gun stores.
Take some vacation time, (working from home is getting tedious - my "new" office is my dining room table, and it's always in my face).
Expand my ministry involvement (time is getting short).
Actually thinking about visiting friends in other states now...been putting off some visits because I was too busy and that problem is not currently an issue.
Ya, I miss eating out some too.
We live in the sticks and I never can get my brain around spending the money for something I know I could cook for less than half the cost LOL.
“.....I find I’m a hellava lot more careful with them than I was with my own kids :) .”
I think that’s called spoiling the grandkids! :)
Back to Vegas baby!
Hmm. Probably wash the cat.
I've been talking for some time about an extended ride before I am too old to physically do it. We did an in state 150 miles today, had to carry our lunch of course thanks to the restaurant shutdowns. But I am for certain putting more miles on my Indian. Two wheel wind therapy.
Back to massage spas once a day to catch up.
‘Learn how to type sentences that are understandable..........’
ha ha ha...
Russia.
Wife is Russian and we plan to see her family there.
Also going to spend a week in St. Petersburg, plus a week in STALINGRAD (Volgograd).
This WW2 history nerd can’t wait!
Amen! Since i am a “child of the 50’s” I probably am older than you are, but I still love my “Wind Therapy”
Have you been to the Indian Museum in Springfield MA?
There’s that, too.
Plus, I know what’s in it and who handled it and how clean the kitchen is.
And it’s usually better quality.
The only thing I can’t do better with is Chinese. I love Chinese food and really miss it, but what I’ve been hearing about Chinese eating and hygiene habits lately has made me reconsider eating it again even if I could.
Inspirational post.
God bless you and thank you for your service.
Our ‘local’ Chinese restaurant has a dodgy history wrt health inspection.
Still has customers though LOL.
It’s got good food and you can actually see the kitchen area and your food being prepared. I think the food storage thing is what got them in trouble.
