How long until the citizenry rebels not only against voluntary and forced quarantine, but also the forced shuttering of businesses. We have already seen the young adults flagrantly ignore recommendations to avoid being in the presence of, or congregating in, large groups. This is not meant to discuss nor dismiss the constitutionality of the significant curtailment of our rights, and the outright inflation that will be caused by runaway monetary spending/printing. But rather, will America allow itself to succumb to economic death in favor of physical survival? This is not to say that we wouldn't still exercise reasonable precautions, but how long do you think this will be put up with in its current state?
Trump is sending the National Guard to three states. Not sure which ones.
National Guard is controlled by the Governor - if they do any more than hand out MRE’s in our area, they’ll wish they stayed home.
If he’s sending them TO three states, where are they being sent FROM?
Given this forum used to be considered America’s most conservative forum and I’m guessing it’s 70% doomers

I’ll be upset when they order me to go to town. I stay at home during the winter anyway. So I’m not “putting up” with anything. I’m doing what I want and avoiding sick people in the process.
I am curious though, aren’t most of these lockdown orders coming from DimocRAT run cities, counties, states?

This all depends. I live in Pennsylvania. Our Democrat governor has lost it. The same is happening in neighboring NJ and NY. Given that Trump is in a support position in all this and it’s the governors who are issuing the quarantine orders assigning blame is not an automatic — except the guy who is perceived to be the top usually gets blamed.

unable to see the future some imagine the worst. Our species survived the Spanish Flu when medicine seems so backward. Surely, after a hundred years of improvement, this won’t be as devastating; as the worst we have seen.

At this point, most people are supporting the Trump administration and its recommendations, IMO.
The crap will fall apart in certain locations when Nazi mayors and governors over extend their emergency declarations and order everyone to turn in their ammo dumps and munitions.
