I do too. I have allergies, which makes my sinuses drain. At night they drain down the back of my throat and then I wind up coughing it up all the next morning. Drives me crazy for a few weeks every spring.
I know, it’s just awful!
Shortness of breath should be the takeaway. Some people with serious pre-existing conditions will not get a fever but will actually drop in temperature.

Same with my 16 y.o. son, twice a year, spring and fall. About a week or two with cough and congestion. Zyrtec seems to help a little.
