What are families doing and what are plans during this odd time.
I am in house and keeping busy. Summer in the south.. already.
Staying in. Watching tv with my mom. Cooking more than usual, less microwaving.
It’s March. The traditional Spring cleaning time. I’ll be cleaning house, starting seedlings, raking yard, pruning trees... In others words, I’ll be doing the same as I have been doing in the previous years except now no one will stop by and interrupt. I’ll loose the only excuse I have to not do something. LOL
Reading a lot more.
Have time to finally break down the Garand I bought last year and give her a good greasing up.
Cull some junk from the garage. And from the basement.
More time to pray and meditate.
I’m a food vendor, so I’m considered essential in PA. I’m working.
This thread is going to be HUGE;).
In the South too, live in a Condo overlooking the river...the sunrises are beautiful.
My daughters have ordered me to stay inside and brought me enough food for 2 months so I don’t need to go shopping.
Trying to get motivated to do some painting (I have dozens of canvases waiting;)or finish typing my memoirs.
Take care and God bless.
I’m sitting in the parking lot waiting for my daughter to buy wine.
I live in a medium-sized metro area with capital and university. I am now working from home, and the kids (the ones in private school) are doing remote learning that the teachers set up in 2 days. The high schooler is doing Khan Academy, since the public schools are doing nothing. My husband is working longer hours to fill in for staff that cant work due to no childcare. Lots of places are closed. It rained yesterday and was cold and blustery today. The kids (6) are squirrelly but the always are. (5 are my sisters).
Good things happening though. My sister has stopped over feeding the kids, and we focus on eating leftovers before they go bad, so there is less waste, we are praying together as a family and in general learning to care more for each other. A lot of this they already do at school, but its nice to see at home.
Some of the same things still happen, like spilled milk and sticking stuff in electrical outlets. So far were doing well.
Working, silly. The only difference is which desk Im sitting at and whether I have to put up with commuting, parking, and meeting rooms.
Well, we are still going to work every day just like usual. I stop at the store and pick up things for my mother who is 83 and drop off at her house. We have plenty of food and stuff in the freezer.
I am making stained glass projects. Stay well and God Bless
LOL! We got snow still on the ground and possibly more over the weekend into next week. And all our trees started budding about two weeks ago. Oh well, won’t be the first time. Hopefully it won’t be the last. YIKES!
Reloading.
Not raining today, so we did some lite shopping then spent a couple hours splitting wood this afternoon. Support your local small biz, most are in dire straits
The greeter at Walmart was talking with a customer this week and I overheard that very same thing — Jack Daniels. They weren’t kidding.
Cleaning the guns. Oh wait, I dont have any.
This “pandemic” is a load of crap. Doesn’t affect my life personally because I disdain people anyway and avoid them as a matter of choice. But people are losing their minds. Dopes.
My household is not doing anything any differently than before.
Sandwiching 10 quilt tops with backing and batting to hand quilt later on.
Watching the “Too Cute” marathon on Animal Planet.
Checking FR occasionally.
Praying for PDJT.
Us either. I work from home primarily, kids are homeschooled, do t really like crowds anyway. No impact.
70 today. I can read all day. Bookworm. Brushing up on EMP knowledge. Getting kick out of TRUMP belittling MSM, COME next conference he might kick out some and tape spots 6 ft A PART. HE NEEDS TO FIRE CDC DIRECTOR REDFIELD, MAN IS A FRAUD, LIAR, TOO.
