Brief Summary:
This is a multi-center, double-blinded study of COVID-19 infected patients requiring inpatient hospital admission randomized 1:1 to daily Losartan or placebo for 7 days or hospital discharge.
I took an inventory of relevant supplies and made a list of everything I didn't already have that I wanted. The only thing on it (literally) was tonic water, and I got that more than a week ago. The low dose Quinine is probably unnecessary and not even helpful, but it's harmless so I went for it. Besides, I like the taste. That and I have a beautiful custom .308 rifle (yearlong wait just ended two weeks ago) that I haven't sighted in. My range is closed, so that isn't going to happen either.
I was going to mention that earlier, but then the “new” statistics reset. Starting below the line for Diamond Princess, there were a lot of big increases (by percentage). I think Israel was over 35%. Many over 25%.
