Its the teeth that is an alert it might be body double. look at that big gap
Different strain perhaps. The Italians may have gotten the bad mutated one. While SK got the original non mutated Bat jumping virus. Or the Chinese may have released multiple strains to hide a more virulent modification.

I suspect many of the underlying health conditions in the dead include diabetes and high blood pressure
Tom Hanks has diabetes. He is in the danger age. But he is getting the best health care money can buy.
His sister said he is having a tough time but he will very likely pull through
In Italy BMI was a deciding factor for who gets a ventilator. They started denying ventilators to people with a BMI above 25 in Italy.
CUOMO: “We did some projections. We think here in New York... we’re looking here at a peak in about five or six weeks. We’re looking at about 110,000 hospitalizations, about 25,000 to 37,000 people needing ICU beds. That vastly overwhelms our healthcare capacity.”

110,000 hospitalizations/.15 = 733,000.
New York state’s population is 19.8M, of which about 60% (11.9M)
733,000/11,900,000 = 6% of the population is infected in the first wave.
I am estimating that 5% of the population will be infected in the first wave, so I believe Cuomo’s estimates are solid.
I am impressed, to be honest.
KS
More Covid-19 cases reported across metro area (Kansas City metropolitan area in Kansas and Missouri)
1 p.m. — The Kansas Department of Health and Environment says Kansas now has 34 presumptive positive cases of COVID-19. The numbers were as of 10 a.m. Thursday. Johnson County leads the way with 16 confirmed cases, while Wyandotte County has eight, Leavenworth has two and Douglas and Franklin report one.
NOTE: Morris County reported 2 cases - likely from travelers - yesterday. These cases are likely excluded from KDHE reports
I just sneak in at 24.something.
The interesting thing is I could weigh 118 pounds and be OK on “healthy” BMI. I think I’d look like an Auschwitz survivor.
not paying much attention to Cuomo but he does seem to be doing a fairly good job in a terrible situation in a state that is a hotspot.
Lord help us..it might help him run for POTUS one day
And...because they were the most impacted by SARs, they locked down right.
A few people dead on the streets made them real compliant.
They dont need to learn twice.
We should be so lucky.
Cumom actually understands the numbers, both the quantity and the timing.
That is _rare_ these days...
They should be readily available. They are a treatment though, not a prophylactic. The side effects can be icky.
I do VA.
Glad to see low numbers in your state.
Only one reason: South Korea took it seriously and almost immediately instituted measures to slow down it's spread so that their healthcare wouldn't be overwhelmed. They did more than what we are doing right now. Italy on the other hand did almost nothing initially. That's the only factor.
last time I checked..they let you keep assets..but dont remember exact details
here is the story behind the video I posted yesterday
