thread # 17 is here...

I stopped at Target this morning - bare shelves everywhere. I talked at length with a real nice man who was restocking shelves. He said they get ONE big 18 wheeler trailer arrival every morning around 6 am. They unload it and start stocking shelves by 7 am. Hand sanitizer and wipes are put on shelves sometime after that depending on how the truck was loaded.
He said lines form for the critically short things and the shelves are empty of sanitizer and wipes just 10 minutes after they restock the shelves. You have to be in line at that part of the store when the restocking takes place.
I seriously doubt there are any "hidden" stocks in the back.
Canada, about time.
Guessing he’ll have let in that Brit, Just Harry. It’d be funny if MEghan visited grandma in CA and couldn’t get back into Canada. It’ll never happen but it’d be funny.
What are they going to do with the homeless?
Let them wander free while everyone else is prohibited from going out?
THREADETTE: I'm reading House testimony re coronavirus and had NO IDEA how ballsy @realDonaldTrump decision to ban travel from China was! Apparently, the bureaucrats ran academic models on the scenario & those concluded travel should not be banned. Cuccinelli recommended 1/— Margot Cleveland (@ProfMJCleveland) March 16, 2020
“I am.”
Me too. Virtually no human contact for the past 11 days, other than my family that I’m bunkered with. Other than a few quick shopping runs (in near-empty stores), none of us are having any contact with the outside (except through the Internet).

There was something that went around last winter that did that to me, too.
I thought I had walking pneumonia but since there’s no treatment for it but rest, I drank and slept A LOT!
It hit everyone around here hard.
Good thing you have meat. There is very little meat in my part of Central TX. Dairy is also down. I laughed about limits on cream cheese when this all started. I was wrong to laugh.
“I call 10,000.”
Probably a bit on the high side, since I really doubt that the market has come to terms with just how slowly the recovery will be. But yes, you’re probably in the ballpark.
$1.89 for Walmart 18 count large eggs.
Your wife was right about the $6/doz being ridiculous.
“Let them wander free while everyone else is prohibited from going out? “
They are seizing motels to house the homeless.
Reports are Hanks and wife have been cleared and are back in their Australia home.
Thought they self isolated at the home.
“Said he never believed me until he saw for himself.”
I feel bad for you. The wife here, from halfway around the world, always trusted me on prepping, be it Y2K, Mortgage Meltdown, or now (even thought the first 2 were false alarms). Just luck of the draw, I guess!
They’ve been cleared after a week? Wow. A diabetic and a cancer conqueror beat The Chinese Flu that quickly? Cool.
That's really going to screw us up due to our situation. I was supposed to start self employment this year but that requires funds, which we have right now. My wife falls into that last group above. Of course those guidelines can't really be considered effective nationwide. WA and NYC are hot spots. We're n flyover country. Our nearest city might be a hot spot in 2-4 weeks. What a mess. I heard a comparison to 1918, on boy. just the flu bro.
They really should NOT have named it The President's Guidelines with all the leftists that hate him so much.
“A diabetic and a cancer conqueror beat The Chinese Flu that quickly?”
No.
Their showboating was taking resources needed for more serious patients. They were told to isolate at home.
What will the servants do?
At some point they'll probably start eating them.

Thanks....from your (TX Walmart/ammo) link...
...Verdict: This particular (unverified) Walmart probably didnt have anybody on shift at the time who was qualified to sell ammunition and placed this sign. It is not a likely conspiracy to keep ammo out of the hands of law abiding gun owners...
(Not seen at any other TX Walmarts, by the website.)
