This current crisis will wake people up. Well get those overseas jobs back to America.

Good man, be sure to point and laugh at the failure of their strategic plans when the request to “help out” inevitably comes. They may threaten your employment but that’s a small sacrifice to MAGA.
With all the old timers that are going to drop dead by the time this is over jobs will be easy to come by.
I worked in IT all my life. Outsourcing may look fine on paper, but I suspect that there are hidden costs that counter the positive financial analysis performed up front. There are some things that Americans do better just because of our culture of capitalism and competition. Two people from different cultures are inevitably going to interpret the same written requirements differently. If that makes any sense.
Yep. They’ll go right back to it. Collect their bonus checks even while their companies fall apart. These f’ers are never held accountable.
That seems harsh but I understand where you're coming from. When we lived overseas I wanted to STRANGLE a couple of them. Their egos FAR outstrip their work ethic and Indians seem to think that their culture is superior to all.
That wasn't tre for ALL Indians but, generally, for MOST of them.
They are ALMOST as bad as the Chinese...almost.
My experience as a consultant is that mid-level managers are often the lifers who resist all efficiency. Top management outsources to get around the obstacles of mid-level management.
Sears is the alternative. Let the mid-level managers run the company into the ground despite the best plans of those at the top. Currently, IBM risks being the next Sears as mid-level managers seem interested in their own little empires, rather than the health and profit of their company.

if indians were half as good as they themselves they are they would have surpassed china economically a decade ago

That hasn’t been my experience. Companies I’ve worked for had senior execs that needed to be watered twice a week. YMMV
