Just got back from Safeway in Mountain View, California and I took notice of peoples' priorities in the current COVID-19 hysteria.
Pasta and tomato sauce -- wiped out...
Paper goods - cleaned out...
And right next to the paper goods section...Condoms - PLENTIFUL!
Good luck to you!
BTW...2 known/tested cases in Idaho. Only state w/o COVID-19 is WV (but they have only tested 26 people).

Baby boom coming...
Upstate SC Walmart was crowded but with no overt panic on display. All paper goods nearly gone. Cleaning supplies gone. Frozen foods, deli items, meat and bottle water scarce. Yet across the road Lowes had ample supplies of paper products and water, but were rationing purchases.
Yes. They usually take about ten minutes to decide to take a check. Ha!
BUT, my heart was warmed by this encouraging sign. It's good to know that California STILL has its priorities straight.
You too FRamigo!
Worse comes to worse, we can always hunt.
Squirrels, geese, rabbits, deer...
Harris Teeter in NC will close at 9PM to give their employees time to catch-up.
This will be every night per an email from them.
I haven’t needed anything as I buy 1 year of paper products every December.
Id say it would be best to not visit restaurants for a couple of weeks....but vow to go eat out a little more after that......
....
For some business owners that may be too late. If this keeps up, this is going to hurt us all financially. It’s always the other guy, until it’s us.
The media still wields the power to destroy our economy. They must be laughing themselves silly at how easy this has been.
Safeway at 5100 Broadway, North Oakland, is in pretty good shape. Hardly any paper towels or toilet paper BUT the cheap brands are still there. There was a big shrink-wrapped pallet in the back. Deliveries are constantly coming in. This store is open until 2 am.
Shoppers didn't look panic-stricken, didn't look any more stressed than a pre-Thanksgiving shopping spree would merit.
I have a couple of months supply, maybe more. Part of it was sheer luck. A couple of years ago Walmart cleared out a bunch of Mountain House meals. even half price they were too high for me.
I must have happened by just after they reduced them all to $1.10 each. I bought them all. They are so good that I have eaten a few when I was lazy. I also have a bunch of fruit trees etc. Also a dozen pecan trees.
I could last a long time.
BTW, I was doing a little cleaning and noticed my Formula 409 said it kills 99.99% of germs. I did not even buy it as an antiseptic.
Those meals are going(asking price) for big bucks on Amazon.
Well the first cases showed up in the last 36 hrs in Arkansas..
Was at Meijer yesterday.
Ground beef...sold out.
Chicken...sold out.
Canned tuna...sold out.
Plenty of bacon...fools.
First cases just hit in Arkansas in the last 36 hrs.
Fear and Panic replaced the virus!
I got full carry-out from my local BBQ today.
They come out to your car. Dude said “Be sure to wash your hands” as he walked away.
I think that’s better than the crap situation at the grocer.
+1
I might have to eat out more often for a while. Its more expensive, but I wont starve, and I dont have to fight the mobs at the store.
