I want to share with you some scenes that greeted me at my local Kroger today.
These are scenes from a panicked populace.
Like locusts, they are stripping the shelves bare.
Kroger Toilet Paper aisle.
Kroger Deli Meat aisle.
Kroger bottled water aisle.
Have 12 year olds who understand firearms. A little demo with 00 buck and 5 gallon bucket of water did wonders for gun safety and muzzle awareness in them. Regardless, I’ve always kept the trigger locks on just to be doubly safe.
However, the environment has changed.
Talked with COMNAVHOM6; the locks come off tomorrow.
Yeah, I read you made your money on fairs. This will be a very lean year. Best of luck bro
as of Friday, this was not happening in Colorado ... we went out shopping yesterday and it was pretty normal ...
I’ve never heard of “Beer Isle.” Is that in the Atlantic ocean, or the Pacific ocean?
Doin ok bro. :)
It’s ridiculous. I purchase my meats from a local butcher shop. Owner is the rancher and the beef he raises is stellar. I quipped in jest that I needed to get there before a run on great beef occurred. He said don’t worry, we have 1000s and 1000s of pounds of meat. I said we had 1000s and 1000s of rolls of toilet paper and look what has happened.
I got there this morning to get my normal 2 lbs of ground beef, couple steaks, and bacon. Waited in line behind 5 people, another 5 in line behind me. His freezer cases were almost empty, his fresh cases were getting tapped out. He was having a truck unloaded as I was in there. He posted a video this afternoon asking his customers if he should open this Sunday and Monday to meet the need. Asked his butcher if selling 1000 lbs of ground beef today sounded right. Mario said “Nope, we actually sold about 3000 lbs this morning.” This guy fresh grinds his beef in house.
I’m shocked at the panic.
The soda aisle was bare at my Publix
Trucks come before the Wednesday ad folks
Yep, that’s what I’m seeing in some parts of my stores, too. No fights breaking out, though, as far as I can tell.
On the bright side, at least the ignorami are now stocking up in preparation for possible sickness or quarantine.
Glad to hear it. Im good with ok
If it does return.
There are forces out there that want America to fail and they are pushing all the buttons to make it happen.
Hold on, it may just be a rough ride.
“Red-blooded American paranoiacs cowering in fear, pissing their pants.”
I’m sure they’re around, but I’ve yet to encounter one.
“Bat Wing!”
.
I love This Bar!
How you doin’ Laz?
“I’m shocked at the panic”
Just like the person who wrote the column at 87, before the tsunami hit mainland USA (but long after it was hitting Europe....just like today.)
