I want to share with you some scenes that greeted me at my local Kroger today.
These are scenes from a panicked populace.
Like locusts, they are stripping the shelves bare.
Kroger Toilet Paper aisle.
Kroger Deli Meat aisle.
Kroger bottled water aisle.
Very similar to our grocery store here in the People’s Republic. Land of Peasant Living.
That wasn’t Kroger. You walked onto the set of The Walking Dead, silly!
I am in sleepy Crawfordville, Fl. Probably a few thousand people. There was still food at the local Walmart but the shelves were about 50% stocked. People were calm and decent, but they were buying ridiculous amounts of stuff. I am told the Win Dixie was the same way.
I bought freeze dried food from a prepper company about a month ago and people thought I was crazy.
My Marine vet buddy and his girlfriend are both sick as dogs from visiting Miami. His dentist took his temperature and sent him packing and that was last week when he wasn’t really feeling badly. They are 36.
Same where I’m at.
Maybe going to try ordering groceries from online.
WOW!!!!
In the last few days, I have been to two Food Lions, a Lowes Foods and a a Carli C’s...
All four had plenty of food stuff...Meats, canned goods, fresh veggies and fruits....
Toilet paper was low, but there was still some in each store...
Look in the aisle for vegan and gluten free foods. They’ll still be there.
Alberta is being hit fairly badly on a per-capita basis for Canada—
I’m assuming most of the cases are in Calgary?
There is a very good chance that it will bust open in B.C. and southwestern Ontario soon.
Just Google how many cases of corona virus in US today. No matter what you wont get an answer.
Feel the Bern!
I figured Vancouver would get hit hard with all the Chinese there.
Same in a small town near Nashville.
But the deli meats are better stocked.
Trump just tested negative for Coronavirus.
Please add me to your ping list.
I just blew my nose and a bat wing came out.
Should I be concerned?
tftp!
Seriously reconsidering if I should have bought more ammo.
Figured I had enough already. {;^)
It’s amazing. I never would have thought that Americans would be reacting like this to what is at worst a typical flu that, like any flu, kills some of the most vulnerable and just gives the great majority a few bad days.
This is insane. The economic damage is going to be unbelievable.
Da peeps is just making it easier for the hard working employees of Kroger to sanitize they shelves.
My wife has about 50 cousins and their spouses and a few closer relatives in the mid west
Several have called today to see how they were wishing that they had listened to my JIT warning re inventory an possible shortages of products and food bought on a daily basis or weekly basis.
Churches are being closed and even outdoor sporting events like tennis and golf.
No one knew of a single person with the virus in a hospital,
been in a hospital or in voluntary isolation.
I stocked up 3 weeks ago at Sams and bought 12 paks of Campbells soup for instance. On Amazon they are going for 50-70.00 for 12 cans of soup. 12 boxes of spaghetti noodles 79.00.
Insane
Here in Michigan Krogers, Walmarts and Meijers store wiped out. I thankfully have a Sams Plus card and that gets me in the store at 7am-10am. Hardly anyone there shopping.
I was raised by frugal grandparents and was taught how to make things stretch. Big kettles of potatoe soup, goulash vegetable soup
We can only die once. And the media cant have that..
