I want to share with you some scenes that greeted me at my local Kroger today.
These are scenes from a panicked populace.
Like locusts, they are stripping the shelves bare.
Kroger Toilet Paper aisle.
Kroger Deli Meat aisle.
Kroger bottled water aisle.
Last I heard, it was the urine.

Well, some of us can’t afford to catch it because if we do, we don’t expect to survive it, as we have health issues that complicate things A LOT!
So the best course of action is to be prepared ahead of time to be able to self-quarantine ourselves while this runs its course.
Not everyone who is prepping is doing out of panic and doom saying.
For more than a few of us, it truly would be a matter of survival.
Nor is the kind of prepping those of us in that situation are doing contributing to this current mess. On the contrary, we are not contributing to it being even worse, AND we are avoiding unnecessary exposure to someone who may be sick.
I find that it’s always easy for someone who is fit and healthy to judge someone else’s actions when they really don’t know the whole story.
Forest Acres is so far quiet.
In your dreams but not from anyone here.
Svengoolie!!!
The 4D Man on MeTV, you speak of, is on Svengoolie right now.
A fellow Svengoolie fan!
Warms my heart*.
:)
Conifer King Soopers was cleaned out Thursday
If Freerepublic had a way to block people, you would be the first I would block. No matter how correct your facts may be, you’re a dangerous person with your blatant fear mongering.
Ok. So how much time do we have. One week? Two? A month? I need to know, because I’m thinking about going south on my mortgage and credit card balance.
I’m looking for “opportunity shoppers” in grocery stores and at pharmacy locations. Anyone who has concealed carry and doesn’t is not playing with a full deck. If someone strange even comes near you, be ready to take decisive precautions/action if necessary.
SAME HERE DAMMIT!
The grocery clerk whispered to me “get here before 6 AM Monday and we will have Paper Towels and TP.”
I get up at 5 so instead of my AM workout, to the Ralphs I shall go.
$380 on Amazon ?!? In paperback.
At the press conference Friday there was a press question about when would hand sanitizer be available. The Target representative explained that there is plenty being delivered from suppliers but the customers just keep buying it all.
As long as we have a supply huge demand just increases sales for everyone, and boosts the economy.
People with brains the size of a locust, allowing irrational fears to move them to behaviors that MANUFACTURE one of their greatest fears - shortages.
Now they can smugly feel vindicated, after THEY have cleaned out the shelves - “see,I told you there’d be shortages”.
The stores themselves could have and should have put count limits on EVERYTHING.
Calgary ‘leads’ in COVID-19 cases, followed closely by Edmonton in ‘2nd place’. We are definitely hurting. This whole pandemic will take months to work itself out, ruining our already poor and fragile economy. This falls firmly on the (slouched) shoulders of True-dope. Instead of acting firmly like Trump, he dithered, as only a dope-smoking adict can do, and so, he cost Kanadahar plenty of virus sufferers. Of course, the destruction of Canada’s economy only furthers his commie goals. A pox on his house!
Nearest is 45 minutes away. On the radar is where it will have to stay.
Fist fight at a walmart over a bottle of hand sanitizer.
Rumors of EBT card issues, which will lead to riots as the grasshoppers panic.
Going to carry every where.
You gotta read the posted by before you read what they wrote. Then you just skip right on by their idiocy and panic.
I guess living in a small town in a flyover state has its advantages. Went to the store today and its packed full. Cleaning supplies, food, water, TP, no empty shelves.
I am glad to see you are getting your health back.
I’m partial to Creature from the Black Lagoon. Filmed at Wakulla Springs in Florida. Wakulla Springs was developed by Edward Ball, a brother-in-law of Alfred DuPont. Ball built much of the infrastructure that resulted in Redneck Riviera (FL Panhandle). One of my favorite places to visit.
