Do they card you for booze?
What’s a WuFlu pumper?
Is POTUS a WuFlu pumper?
Gas pumps are a sanitary quandary for me.
Steps I take to refill my gas tank:
1) turn off car and take keys out of ignition,
2) take cc out of wallet, open door, put into machine
3) punch buttons on screen
4) pick up,gas pump handle and put in gas tank
5) wait for tank to fill (I usually get back in my car, which means I touch the outside handle of my car, and then parts of the interior)
6) get back out of car, touching interior door frame, remove pump, from car, and then hang it up,
7) get back into car, close door with hand, put cc back in wallet in purse
8.) pick up keys and put in ignition, car starts put hands on steering wheel
Question:
Assume the gas pump handle and/or the touchscreen is infected. What is the best way to keep your hands and everything else you have touched free of the virus?
“Texans dont need to rush out and stock up on groceries or household items: Theres no shortage if everyone takes only what they need.
Thats the message from Texas officials and industry representatives, who say preparing for a health disaster like the state’s COVID-19 outbreaks is different from a natural disaster.”
There is a hurricane headed straight for TX and it’s name is Coronavirus. There is a huge difference between trekking out today vs. trekking out for more tp in 2 weeks when there’s an inch of CV shedding all over.
Not true for SK. In addition to aggressively tracking down and testing anyone associated with any person who tested positive, they are randomly testing large numbers of non-symptomatic people, and have set up test stations where anyone can be tested for free and get results the next day. Over 200,000 tests. 200,000 tests goes way beyond "statistically significant. If there were large numbers of "unreported" cases, they would show up in these tests. For most other countries, your argument is almost certainly true, but not for SK. Also, asymptomatic cases are mostly a myth, and are actually "pre-symptomatic" cases found through contact tracking. Actual asymptomatic cases are about 1.2% according to the WHO.
Due to the lack of adequate testing, just assume AL has dozens of cases (multiply 6 x 10). Most of them will just so along thinking they have cold or flu, and will turn out fine. A few will have pneumonia and futilely fight it with antibiotics, maybe they’ll survive, maybe not.
Probably right....at least, very close.
Prior to this mess I used paper towels to touch everything.
Then used hand sanitzer before I got back in the car
Now just going to use a glove
Costco has them cheap. 400 in a box
Take a clorox wipe with you and wrap that around your fingers/hands you use to touch anything.
Regardless of how many cases they report, it seems they still have other problems resulting from the prolonged quarantine.
See Jennifer Zengs twitter and scroll down a bit.

This is only in one city Shenzhen, but the unrest could be more widespread.
I’m guessing, due to inadequate testing, that there are around 22,000 COVID-19 cases in the U.S. (official count is now 2200, I multiply by 10).
I’m in the boonies now, taxis aren’t an option.
Way back though, the only problem was getting rid of the drivers after they saw the party that was going on!
I have no idea. I wouldnt want to be holed up at the hospital I mentioned. It is a mold factory. Or was 23-27 years ago. I doubt its fancy.
He could very well be, in a different sense. He was meeting with the Brazilian Covidians some time ago.
I get gas, I’ll just go into the store and wash my hands for 20 seconds afterward.
This season we've seen a crazy number of influenza and simultaneous strep pharyngitis. No striking preponderance of either A or B flu. Seeing plenty of each.
Ohio assumes without adequate testing that 100,000 people are infected in their state.
If I go pick up liquor at a store I generally get carded.
Of course if Im taking it private to private no such requirement.
If the meter is running we will deliver whatever afaik. I wouldnt turn business down. Legal of course.
I have been using hand sanitizer after I pump gas.
In one week the skin on my hands is as dry as it was in very cold Chicago winter.
I have a stash of clorox, wipes, but Using them without gloves would destroy my hands.
And I dont have enough gloves to dispose of them after every use.
So theoretically a dude who looks old enough to buy booze could order it..you get it..and then deliver it without carding
Of course, this isnt going to work for some dude who looks 16.
