Is there sugar free Gatorade or does it have to be the sugar type? What do the diabetics do?

Wonder if these colleges and universities have thought about upcoming summer camps (sports, music, etc.,)

Gatorade™ is way too strong to use as an electrolyte refresher in a seriously dehydrated individual. Needs to be diluted by at least 50%.

Not all the following are necessarily present in a particular Gatorade™ product:

Too much sodium, hypernatremia, can cause dizziness, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Too much potassium, hyperkalemia, can impact your kidney function and cause heart arrhythmia, nausea, and an irregular pulse.

Too much calcium, known as hypercalcemia, can lead to fatigue, lethargy, seizures, and bone and joint pain.

Too much magnesium can cause muscle weakness, nausea, dizziness, confusion, and heart arrhythmia. At its worst, it can cause muscular and neurological damage.

So I’m looked at this tweet, thinking the article would be interesting. I literally was appalled and sickened at the comments. Many of them cheering on the death of a generation, calling it boomer flu and greta’s revenge and more. Just evil

It’s why i’m disappointed at the ‘it’s just old people’ comments on FR.

It would change voting demographics a decade early.

And might influence whether trump gets elected or not.

GEORGIA - started using their new quarantine campground today

5 new presumed positive COVID-19 cases in Georgia
1 patient isolated at Georgia’s Hard Labor Creek State Park
ATLANTA, Ga. – The Georgia Department of Public Health was awaiting confirmation on five additional presumptive positive cases of the new coronavirus Tuesday evening, according to a news release from Gov. Brian Kemp’s office.

The additional cases are in Charlton County, Fulton County, and three in Cobb County. All but one person required hospitalization

According to the governor’s office, there are six confirmed cases of the virus in Georgia, and 16 presumptive positive cases.

A patient in Georgia to test positive for the new coronavirus has been isolated on the grounds of Hard Labor Creek State Park, the governor’s office said in a separate news release.

The news release said the patient is from Cherokee County and is isolated in a mobile unit. It said that state public health officials determined a specific part of the park would be best suited for isolation as the patient receives treatment.

According to the governor’s office, the isolated site is closed to public access and closely monitored 24-7 by state law enforcement. Seven emergency mobile units have been deployed to Hard Labor Creek State Park.

They won’t let the screeners wear masks (even if there was proof they worked).

I just drink Cola or Ginger Ale, sip broth, and eat popsicles when I’ve got a cold or flu etc.

Thank you. He works on a construction area of the hospital but still. The contractors like him aren’t necessarily in the loop or provided with PPE. He asked his boss for better PPE for him and his crew, but the boss only listens to Rush apparently and thinks it’s all hype.

Why was Washington state able to do so much testing when other states were not?

About half of it has to do with the existence of the University of Washington Medical Center and associated Virology lab. The lab happened to be well positioned to quickly implement novel testing protocols.

The other half is that the Washington State Legislature, although demonically possessed on life and culture issues, has always tended to be fairly effective and efficient when dealing with practical matters at the state government level. Most state departments such as D.S.H.S. are pretty well run.

I didn’t understand things like campus closings.

My daughter may be late home tonight because a couple of her friends have been sent home from college. They go get their fly home stuff and run last minute errands and take their taxi and go through the airport and get breakfast and uber home and hang with family and neighbors and go to the store and they’ll go out with my daughter to the mall and to dinner and exactly why is this safer for anyone than being at school?

I do understand the usefulness of actual quarantine. But this is not quarantine. I dare say they are interacting with way more people this way, probably.

So expensive. So stupid. Imo

If he’s outside a lot, it might not matter PPE wise.
