So now that the use of hydroxychloroquine has been approved, I wonder if the governors who banned its use will reverse their stupidity.

I was disappointed to miss the Easter reopening, but April 30th is basically only 2 weeks later. That’s not so bad, and it may even change if things turn around.

I would be lying if I said I was not terribly disappointed that the stay in place order goes for another two weeks.
To me, this is uncharted territory for our country and its economy.
Even though government checks will be coming, that is no substitute for people working and making America hum.
The stock market had quite a rebound last week.
I think it will tank today once again.
Here in southern DE, it is gloomy—matches the national mood.
We have to have hope.
I pray tomorrow, with the news of the chloroquine regimen trials, gives us that hope.
Emergency trip to dentist for P today. Will probably go to a store close by to pick up a couple items on list. Even when we plan on staying home God has other plans. Will use gloves and Clorox wipes
Careful ma, Costco sent out a notice yesterday, one of the cashiers at one of our Costcos has the virus.

Recently, how many times have you heard Subject statement from your
friends, acquaintances, talking heads or on television, etc?
I even heard a man of the cloth deliver this same message today during
an on-line sermon.
Could it be that since everybody is saying it—then it must be true.
I call bullshit-—here’s why:
The news (televised, print & social media) is a bombardment of Armageddon.
“We’ve never seen anything like this”...bla bla bla, 24X7: Coronavirus,
COVID-19, the virus...........
I think that’s nonsense!
In the USA yesterday 485 people died of the virus bringing the YTD virus
death count to 2,191.
Yesterday heart disease killed 1,774 bringing the YTD to 157,886 (72
times greater than the “we’ve never seen anything like it” virus).
Yesterday cancer killed 1,641 bringing the YTD to 146,049 67 times more
than the virus).
Stroke, suicide, diabetes and pneumonia killed 1,349 yesterday, 120,061
YTD (55 times greater than the virus).
Accidents killed 465 yesterday, 41,385 YTD (19 times greater than the
virus).
No one says anything about heart attacks, cancer, accidents, stroke,
suicide, diabetes, and pneumonia——why?
In the USA we have several parallel causes of death that dwarf the virus.**
Where is major media regarding those causes of death——crickets.
Why has this virus brought the planet to a perpetual “STOP”?
I do not have the answer to my own question, so if you have one, I’d love to hear it.
**I do understand that a virus could spiral and I expect the virus numbers will also climb-—as most other COVID’s have done

Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats delayed the Workers Help/Stimulus Bill by over a week, trying to add real “junk” into the Bill. Got some bad things, having nothing to do with those affected by the Virus, included. Republicans need their votes until we WIN BACK THE HOUSE IN 2020!
