I think that we should have one thread where everybody on Free Republic Can list their concerns about the Coronavirus.
Its simply becoming too time consuming to keep up with all the different Coronavirus concern threads that keep popping up every few minutes.
This way, we can all be on the record on one thread with our concerns about the Coronavirus.
Not yet. Probably not ever. These things always sputter out after the press loses interest. Because they never really existed in the first place. It’s a cold. They suck. This one’s a bit strong. Happens.
I am retired. Waiting for my wife to get ready for an Octo visit. I would rather do this all day, instead of having to describe what my kids are doing thirty times. At the top of my lungs.
Surprising. He has long limbs, often an indicator of relative size; also he married a rich heiress.
Not for me. Im not interested in pouring over 5000 posts when most of the posts are not informational.
Each article should have its own thread.
And in addition, it would help if less of the 5000 posts were from Freepers who have made it their life mission to discredit any coronavirus thread/link/information by attacking people who are interested and posting links.
“Have you considered taking a vacation?”
But don’t go to China!
That didn’t take long...
Best thread yet
Oh, he was married at the time.
We've had words before. I ask you put them aside and hear me out.
Due to my former Federal Contractor position in the CDC, I have something interesting to report:
During the Ebola scare, I called a friend who works in Infectious (shorthand for the Infectious Diseases group). I asked him if this was it. His reply? He laughed a little and said, "No, this is not it."
I breathed a sigh of relief, and he said: "But I don't want you to sleep soundly tonight. You should know that we are watching China's bioweapon program. They are trying to weaponize some of the worst bugs. The international health community has pleaded with them to stop. They won't."
I called him again, over coronavirus. I asked, "Is this it?"
His reply: "Yes, this is it." Then he hung up.
I respected his hang-up and did not call back for more information. Further, bear in mind the call happened a little more than 3 weeks ago. Finally, also bear in mind this is ONE epidemiologist in a very large organization.
All those stated, it still is somewhat unnerving.
This ain’t it.
Im concerned some idiot is going to buy up all the Progresso Beef Barley vegetable soup.
We love Progresso, and my wife’s favorites, yours and Manhattan Clam Chowder have had 0 cans the past couple of weeks.
I like the New England Clam Chowder, and it is in inventory.
Their basic Chicken soup is hard to find.
Are you an epidemiologist? Do you work for a major health agency? No?
I’ll take his opinion over yours, then.
However, caveats still apply: It’s one guy and it was weeks ago. Information changes, and one person is not a consensus.
LOL!!
No big bags of rice at many Costcos after last week.
Several hernia operations are probably needed by those grabbing the big bags and throwing them on top of bags in their carts.
It may not be the Corona Virus “hoax”, but it IS the Corona Virus “HYPE”.
“Im concerned my grift of selling masks @ 1000% mark-up will slow down soon...”
Due to the fires, I have an all most full box.
I’m thinking about auctioning them off on eBay with a minimum bid 2K$’s per mask.
Every one of these “super bugs” there’s somebody, much like you, who insists they have friends, much like you are, in “the know”, and they always say “this is it”.
And so far they’re 0-fer. Always bet the pattern. Take the Pats to win. And the “super bug” to lose.
“Freepers who have made it their life mission to discredit any coronavirus thread/link/information by attacking people who are interested and posting links.”
Yeah, it’s pretty amazing how many have their heads in the sand. Best to just ignore them.
You're a diabetic Laz...and you're in my prayers...
