I wish to give heart felt thanks to Greg Allen who volunteered to help me for he will be driving me on the first Wednesday of this confounded rig-a-ma-ro. He will certainly be adding a very large gold star to his chances for a front seat in Heaven whether he needs it at all-- Many, many thanks, Greg! Dad and Blackie will smiling down at your act of brotherly kindness. They were truly our connection to the real Brotherhood of War from their service in the 133rd Field Artillery of the 36th Infantry Texas National Guard Division during over 400 days of combat in World War Two. Praise the LORD that Bender2’s cancer has not spread very far at all and is “highly treatable.”
Bless Bender2’s nurse Carrie and guide her as she administers the chemo treatments. May only the diseased cells be eradicated by the radiation and may Bender2 not have side-effects from the medications he is taking.
In the Name of JESUS we bind all viruses, infectious disease, and evil spirits that Bender2 may be in contact with at the hospital. Loose Your ministering angels to surround him and fill him with the HOLY SPIRIT, Who washes us and makes us whole.

If I had to guess, I’d say I’m past the event horizon now.

I don’t know how much treatments have changed in the past nine years, but the nurses used to give us intravenous Benadryl along with the chemo. It makes you drowsy. Expect to fall asleep in the recliner with the book in your lap. :-)
