President Trump accused House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday of trying to create a panic around the coronavirus outbreak after the California Democrat criticized the White House’s emergency planning as “inadequate.”
Trump called Pelosi “incompetent” and accused her of using the virus for a political reason during a press conference where he sought to minimize fears of the virus spreading and announced that Vice President Mike Pence will head up Washington’s response to the outbreak.
“She’s trying to create a panic and there is no reason to panic,” Trump said. “All they are trying to is get a political advantage, but this shouldn’t be a political thing.” […]

When the President was trying to keep Corona virus from coming to the US, the democrats were too busy trying to impeach the President.
Give it to Congress. They can remain at home in quarantine. We will all feel better.

I agree that the dems have been relentless against President Trump since the moment he announced.
I don’t doubt for a moment that they will spin this 24-7 and that President Trump and his team are doing everything they can to mitigate the situation.
That being said, I am concerned that the Chinese are not being forthcoming on how serious this is. I started 8 days ago with what I thought was a bad cold. The next day I was at the doctor with chest pains. By Friday I was in the hospital. I’m home again and back to feverish and it still hurts to breathe. They are still not sure what is causing this, despite several chest x-rays and contrast MRIs. Despite over a week of rest, saying away from the family as much as possible, and my husband keeping everything running, I’m still too weak to function properly.
I’m a fairly healthy, slim, 53 year old woman with an active career and raising teenagers. Now they are getting it, too. The headache, the cough, the fever.
I’ve had the flu; this is not behaving like the flu. It’s like drowning on dry land.
I haven’t traveled since my 2 weeks in Italy last August, but I work around people that do.
Trying to stay calm and soldier on.
I’ll say this; if any of my children come down with it, I’m going to blame idiots who brought it into the country, not Trump.
He’s right, of course.
It’s great to have a president who will call them out on it instead of back pedaling, apologizing, and explaining and defending himself.
