No, because Twitter accounts from real living people are still more honest than the Jim Acosta propaganda media you may be watching.
In the face of those of us trying to get accurate information, your sophomoric sarcasm is both unwelcome and immature.
The “it’s just the flu” crowd are in for a hard lesson. But when it comes, they’ll be the first to whine that the nanny state didn’t take care of them. Don’t be like them.
Eunice Yoon, of CNBC, who reports daily, from Beijing, just said that there was actually a jump in the number of newly confirmed cases, in Beijing.
All of the people who got sick (infected) were all connected to a worker...a CLEANER...who came to work with a FEVER.
that is a bit strange. they’re based out of MI. Maybe refueling from TX or maybe like you said, a transport to FL?

This will go on and on and on.
The cleaner probably didn’t want to lose a paycheck. Betcha she/he lives hand to mouth on that salary.
Dow opens -500
Just a note that this is "old" news - Abe made this request two days ago.
Mmmmm, transparency.
Wish I lived somewhere with transparent government.
That means those parents will either have to stay home from work or arrange child care for the littles.
A clarification - Abe had discussed closures two days ago. He was more forceful on Thursday - that forcefulness is probably? what the Tweet is referring to.
I’m making a list of all things China that we’ll need over the next year or so. Its a lot. Bought a chest freezer from wallie world because we’ve been wanting one for a few years now. I built a smoker a little over a year ago and want to buy Boston Butts and other meats to smoke when their on sale. Will be stocking up on auto parts and getting tires. We’re wanting a new cell phone because we have the untrustworthy china brand, ZTE. Can’t think of any other electronics we need. Just bought a new TV and streaming box last year. Need a new push mower and weed wacker.
I’ve been a bit of a prepper going on 15 years but have been slacking the past few years so I’m using this situation as a reason to get caught up on my preps. Don’t have to worry about things like bug out bags. We bugged out from FL and moved to the rural Ozarks seven years ago. I’d been wanting a decent sized piece of land for a long time and would never be able to afford it in FL. My mo-in-law bought 5 acres up in rural North FL for $60k. We got 15 acres out here for $40k which is high for this area but it’s a decent property for this area too. Gotta get that garden going. Skipped last year. Nice flat spot with 12” of top soil, very few rocks and the soil type is considered clayey loam and prime farmland soil. Southern exposure on that part. Pretty rare for the Ozarks. 1000ft of frontage, electric & phone on the road. We’re also real close to the big phone junction box so we get dsl as fast as being downtown. We spent two years looking for land. Some would have cost $15k to bring power in. Just wish I did all this 30 years earlier. I was too busy being single and having fun. Now I’m prepping for retirement on social security.
Oh, parents have to arrange for child care and that’s a problem?
Stop the planes, then. Should have happened two weeks ago.
Don’t do that, I know you’re just kidding around (not YOU, BA).
Wow!
Yeah.
The added bonus is that these parents aren’t earning a wage, if they’re hourly.
Ripple effects...
1918 flu caused a short lived worldwide depression. This might too, for the same reasons.
A little good news. From the beginning Dr. Gottlieb has been pushing the FDA to fast track public and private testing capability independent of the CDC.

NEW: FDAs device center is taking significant steps to expand U.S. testing capacity by establishing efficient EUA path, rolling reviews for public health labs to offer lab developed tests to detect #COVID19. This is major step reflecting superb leadership by Jeff Shuren and team
Well Duh-—like I said -—Freepers have been pointing all this out for years—at least some of us have. And also pointing out how China was locking up resources in other countries all over the world.
So now, it’s getting real to the people who refused to listen and attacked anyone pointing it out in the past. A little long-term strategic planning was needed, but nooooo happy days are never gonna end LOL.
DENIAL—It’s not a river in Egypt.
Should have been done years ago—and at least a month ago—just goes to prove these High priced CEO’s aren’t as smart as they think they are.
Only a month too late.
Better late than never I guess.
Contact tracing at this point is a moot question.
Betcha we could fly to SK and get a test.
I found this especially interesting. Sleep is the best thing for an immune system.
I guess they’re not screening employees who come to work at the hospital? And are there any drawbacks to “cleaning” with steam? The CCP is labeling any ‘slackers’ as traitors, so maybe the cleaner was afraid of being jailed? or maybe had the elevator spitter mentality - if I have it, you get it too?
And why isn’t China blasting the hell out of every bat cave with massive amounts of whatever you kill bats with instead of running around beating people who cant afford masks, for not having a mask?
Because it's unknown if this is how the virus made the jump to humans.
LOL
