try downloading openoffice(?)
Yes—but so far I believe the fatality rate is non-existent.
I’d much rather have it spread much faster than anticipated initially but not be very lethal than have it spread slightly slower and kill at an above-advertised rate.
2% is in fact pretty bad, and if it is closer to 20% and people don’t gain immunity from having it, we would be looking at the worst thing since the Black Death.
I think the plastic addition helps with cooling. That may reduce moisture. Just guessing.
First we had evacuation center dance off and another one and another one
then we had doctor and the little toddlers dance off
and now, ladies and gentlemen, lassies and laddies, we have a trend:
Next up, the Diamond Princess galley crew dance off:

God Bless Them, Every One
If you describing the same type I have, with the exhale valve, it definitely helps with moisture release and eases exhale effort.
thanks D.!
I have open office—that’s what I use.
“China imports rice”
I believe it. My late wife favored Indian rice from her home country (Basmati and Jasmine), and Costco carries those. My new girlfriend — I don’t know much about her eating habits yet besides mostly Asian — is from the Philippines and may have to make do with American rice some day.
hmmm, well, openoffice worked fine for me (just tried it).
Being from Washington State, rice, tobacco, and cotton farming are pretty foreign to me. But we are familiar with cannabis production.
Also a few potatoes, apples, cherries, wheat, asparagus, et al.
And can’t forget hops and grapes.
Oh well. Thanks anyway. I thought maybe it was an issue others could be having, and wanted to let you know.
Line him up against a wall.
Or just send him to Wuhan.
LOL
I believe what’s happening is that your browser isn’t able to open the Excel file directly, so instead it tries it as HTML, which ends up as the gibberish.
Try downloading the file (right-click and “Save target as” in IE) as an xlsx file to HD or a flash drive, or whatever. Then open it with an Excel file viewer (most are free) or, I use Libre Office Portable on a flash drive. (Libre Office Portable will work just fine as a “lite” Office suite on a HD as well.)
(Not trying to talk down at you - just trying to give multi-options to other readers. Obviously IT skill sets vary - mine being on the medium-low end!))
D1, maybe you can make mention of downloading options when you post these spreadsheets. (Feel free to use my text or modify / add.) Also would suggest this go on the daily live coronavirus thread to make it easier to find. Tomorrow, for example, I may not be online much. (”Mom care” duties.) Thanks!
Last I looked, Australia was in the Southern hemisphere. They’ve got the same number of cases as we do (15) right now.
