And, UVa is supposedly a difficult university to get into... if you’re white and out of state.
She is only repeating what she has been taught in school. The old saying that racism is taught in the home is outdated.
Next, she’ll want their own drinking fountains and restrooms.............
It used to be “taught in the home”.

Someone needs to remind this young lady that her grandparents, great-grandparents would have been thrilled to be in a social setting with a lot of whites and other races all being kind, respectful, and getting along with one another. But this is triggering her, which tells me it’s not something she really wants. She wants to be isolated, segregated. She doesn’t want to live in diversity.

A few years ago, there was an article on Harvard’s “safe space”.
One interviewee, a black lesbian, whinged about the straight white males hanging out in the “safe space”.
MLK would not approve.
I shouldn’t laugh out loud at work. (I shouldn’t be reading FR during work either. I never learn.)
Maybe they just need to change the name to the UVA Monocultural Center...
