The other two are duds who were on this week. Ken whats his name and the other guy. Or maybe Rush is back today.
Never thought cigars caused cervical cancer. Hmmmm.
True! I have heard Rush speak of vaping nicotine while out in public. Say at a restaurant where his cigar smoke might offend.
I’m sorry for your loss. Yes, lung cancer can be very bad, very virulent. I’ve heard of the small-cell type as being very dangerous.
We like Styne.
I was shocked when I heard Matthews subbing. To his credit he seemed mindful of the audience and who he was subbing for. He kept it pretty even handed and didn’t come off as the hack he is now. That said he had not totally gone over the cliff yet.
Laura reacted the same way we did. Laugh out Loud! Gotta admit, it was funny!
I remember the day Matthews filled in for Rush. He did use the Lord’s name in vain, which they had to bleep. That’s about the only thing I remember that occasion.
SMOKING is a risk factor ... not the cause. Same with all of those other potential risks declared by the State of California. Very likely there are combinations of risk, modifiers and moderators acting in concert.
But remember that stopped clock Rush himself often quoted, “Senator, everybody is going to die of something, someday.”
Did Rush ever smoke cigarettes!!?
His favorite expression for a news scoop is “I’m holding this in my formerly nicotine-stained fingers...”
Rush will be on in forty minutes.
My mother had lung cancer and was a non-smoker.
Waiting for his bumper music and that familiar voice. We all love you Rush!
FDA Study: Cancer risks nearly nil for 1-2 cigars per day

I’ve never heard Dan Bongino sub for Rush. I have heard him sub for Mark Levin, and I think that a 3 hour stint of Dan going over how everybody knows everybody from the Russia Collusion hoax and the Ukrainian Collusion hoax would reach a new and more mainstream audience.
>Did Rush ever smoke cigarettes!!?
He smoked them until 2010 according to a CNN article about vaping.
He’s BACK!!!!!
actually wasnt it Jack Parr?
Dan Bongino podcasts are one hour and I listen to them a few times a week. I like his frenetic high energy and enthusiasm. But Dan subbing for Rush... I think would be too much for three hours. But Rush/his people should give Bongino a shot. A shot at greatness subbing, see how it works out.
Rush will be away from his show quite a bit while being treated, so I hope worthy contenders get try outs.
Bongino does well when hosting for Levin but he has benefited from seemingly knowing every last detail about Russiagate and other nonsense even down to document dates and so forth.
In other words, he has a topic on which he is an expert so the time is easy to fill.
He could be good having an occasional slot on Rush’s show but the rapid-fire stuff could get tiring to the wider audience.
The current crop of guest hosts are shaky at best. Steyn has a lot of fans here but is wildly prone to repeating himself especially any puns or jokes which are worn threadbare and therefore stripped of all humor especially the undocumented stuff. We get it. He isn’t a US-born citizen.
Matthews relies, apparently, on repeating his own name and the phone number a wildly excessive number of times. Guest slots are a thankless task because of the minimal notice/prep time but the near-constant sucking up to Rush (even in pre-illness days) is unnecessary.
Todd Herman is surprisingly good although some of the war stories as international this or that are surplus to requirement.
Buck Sexton was good (and is still good on Twitter) - not sure how and why certain hosts are selected then dropped.
Laura Ingraham has abandoned her podcast. A guest slot on Rush would seem to be a good fit - she could stretch her radio legs a time or two while avoiding the time crunch of an everyday program.
Buck Sexton should be brought in to guest host more. He is slick and moves along intelligently. There are 20 people in the US who are super experts on the coup against Trump and Bongino is near the top. He has been immersed in it for years. I find him less interesting on other topics.
In fact I listened to yesterday’s Bongino podcast.
