That 8 speed DCT will do the job. It isn’t equal to Porsche’s PDK-DCT performance, but it sure isn’t bad for the money.

No, seriously, good on this guy (and his fiance) for living life to the fullest. Most of us would be satisfied to live to 20 years less than this guy’s age, and don’t expect to be driving convertibles at that point.
Someone should get this guy’s blood and use it to isolate genes that have helped him live this long.

Too funny. I recently bought a 2008 Mercedes Convertible with only 40,000 miles on it to ride around locally. Based on the age, it really wasn’t too expensive. My oldest son said to me, “Dad, you are 10 years into this mid-life crisis and still hitting new peaks.”
I’ve been in a mid-life crisis holding pattern for a good 25 years. Totally unrequited I might add.

People like to say that as men get older they get a flashy car to recapture their youth. Not so, if that were true they'd be getting a '74 Ford Pinto with a leaky oil pan, a window that won't roll down, and a steel plate on the floor to cover the big hole where rust ate through the bottom of the car. That's the sort of car most young men drive until they get old enough to have money. Well, gearheads might make it a priority to have had a beat up Mustang or Road Runner or something that they fixed up but still not exactly not a new vette. In fact, not seeing a lot of 18 year olds driving brand new corvettes!

I am pretty sure that my earliest world event memory is the fall of Saigon—but my memory is of my mother being broken up. I was five.

My earliest memories, outside of family, are the Kennedy-Nixon Debates on TV. That was the 1960 election, when Eisenhower was still POTUS. I was 5 then.
The reason I remember that is because we had a TV and people actually came to our house to watch the debate!..................................
