Prepping/SHTF Knowledge Base
Vanity ^ | 02/01/2020 | Oshkalaboomboom

Posted on 01/31/2020 4:08:39 PM PST by Oshkalaboomboom

I have been working on a knowledge base of topics related to prepping and SHTF situations. It is geared towards making people more self sufficient with topics ranging from unarmed self defense to small space gardening to how to sew your own clothes. I'm one of those types of people who believe that we are going to go out with a whimper, not a bang, so there is a lot of content on how to do your own repairs, build your own stuff and live a more frugal lifestyle. In order to get access you need to send me a PM then I will give you a link and an access code. Once you're in you can find a directory list in each folder. You can download 1 file or everything there in one big zip file. You would need to have some basic book readers and, for 1 section, an MP3 player all which can be found for free. It's been up and running for a year now and plenty of people have visited it and lived to tell the tale :-) If you're interested send me a PM and I will send you the link and crypto key.

This is a monthly posting.

Prepping is good.

But always remember that once the battle starts all game plans will change. Be mentally prepared for that.

Good luck Prepping in urban areas ..

Go rural if you can.

More sensible chances with more like minded people around.

The cities will eat themselves.

Not looking to be added, but a plug for morakniv for good fixed blade utility knives. Not expensive, workhorse, good quality. Prepper ought to have for all sorts of chores around the abode. Food prep, bushwhacking ...

Good luck Prepping in urban areas.

How true I worked for a municipality in a big city for a while back in the day. I was told I needed to attend training on diversity and other silliness in the work place. One of the questions that came up was, “does anyone now what a go bag is”? Me and my co worker knew we lived on the outskirts of the city and were up on this prepping. NO ONE HAD A CLUE and no one felt it necessary to have any kind of plan and thought the whole thing ridiculous

Also, if you want to be added/dropped from the ping list, Please private message me so I don’t miss any pings.

Stock up on bbq sauce and remember libs are tough and stringy.

I’m making yogurt for our sick dog. Yogurt will keep milk a wee bit longer.

Purchase any needed supplies before the Super Bowl crowds hit the streets.
