Fox News Commercials

No disrespect to Mr. Mike Lindell, but the My Pillow commercials are becoming quite monotonous. He needs some fresh material. Also, disappointed that he has to go to Egypt for his cotton. What’s wrong with home grown American cotton?

I flip channels to avoid all commercials.
Ridiculous amount of commercials, especially medical ones.

Perhaps you prefer to buy products from poofters and the mentally insane?

Lindell is a class act and you should support him unless you’re a lib-troll.

Eqyptian cotton is picked by Africans and American cotton is picked by cotton-picken’ African-Americans. (or used to be).

Now Egyptian cotton is picked by African slaves and American cotton is picked by union employees.

Thank you. So many who post here asking questions that are easily answered for themselves with a simple internet query but, seem incapable of doing so.

And the map, just to be thorough! ;)

There’s tons of the MyPillow ads but I think my brain just tunes them out at this point.

Egypt-grown cotton is very very good because of their climate and perhaps the species grown there. Look it up.

That guy doesn’t bother me though. His commercials are a little hokey, but he seems like a good man.

The ones that bother me are Peleton commercials. I hate them!

That and Progressive. But I love Liberty Mutual.

Liberty Biberty!

Liberty Mutual—who is more brain dead, the agency that came up with this day old dirty diaper or the suits at LM who voted to go with it?
I think they should all be executed for crimes against humanity.

Progressive—Flo Must Go! She had a good run but when they started adding characters it killed it. Just sad now.

Geico—like Flo the gecko has had it’s run. Just annoying now.

“Stupid Liberty Mutual EMU commercials!”

A crime against humanity screaming for trials and executions.

“I love the JG Wentworth commercials.”

No accounting for taste I guess.
Every time I inadvertently hear a JGW commercial I have a burning desire to shoot someone.
As far as JGW himself?
I’ve never seen a face I wanted to punch more.

One commercial i really like and laugh at is the doctor walking into the patient’s room saying his license has been renewed— not really.

Bed Bath and Beyond sells the MyPillow sheets and they are no better than typical 400 plus thread count sheets (the store puts out sheet samples you can touch/feel for comparison).

The MyPillow success story is great, and Mike is a loyal Republican Trump supporter—but there are too many MyPillow commercials, enough is enough.

What I can’t stand is the Liberty Mutual “jingle,” what a moronic ridiculous tune!

The very best cotton grown is Sea Island Cotton of the Caribbean and Carolina low country. But it is also rare, thanks to the Civil War and subsequent boll weevil attacks, so what little there is, is used up by men’s shirtmakers- good luck finding anything else made with it. The next best are the other Extra Long Staple cottons. While these cottons originated in the tropical Americas, the varieties bred from them later became famous when introduced to Egypt. But be cautious- Egyptian cotton comes in all grades and all staple lengths, so just because it is grown in Egypt or labeled ‘Egyptian’ means nothing if it’s not ELS cotton. In addition to breeding, the fertility of the soil also determines quality in that the more manured or richer the soil, the longer the fibers. Hence the excellent Giza cotton and US river bend cottons. The finest ELS cotton - is grown in both Egypt and in select suitable parts of the cotton growing regions of the United States, and includes the very rare Pima cotton which is grown in the US.

But 95% of the world’s cotton crop has slightly shorter fibers, and is called upland cotton, used for denim, etc. It’s easier to grow and process and is more resistant to disease and pests. It comes in long and short staple varieties, none quite as long as ELS.

Then there is short staple cotton that pills like crazy - used for flannel, etc.

Egyptian cotton is country of origin of which not all is long staple. Supima cotton developed in Arizona is Extra Long Staple (ELS). Mike could be using US cotton.
