About time...............Jerry should fire himself next....................

I looked at it wrong and read it as “Cowboys Set Fire to Jason Garrett”

When I first read this I thought it said:
“Report: Cowboys Set Fire to Jason Garrett”
That seemed far more interesting than what it actually said.

Still no official word from the Cowboys. Until then, I’ll just take all of these other reports with a grain of salt.
IMO, Jones will just let Coach Clappy’s contract expire on the 14th and not renew it.

Can’t imagine Jones was waiting for Cowboy fan reaction that it was time to let Garrett go. If he had, this would have been done in prior seasons.

Cowboys Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones have moved slowly and with abundance of care and respect for Jason Garrett. Yeah Right

Pretty amazing that someone has chosen to stay with Jerry Jones for this long. Garrett seems like a good guy and I bet we will see him again as a head coach in the NFL.
To: Red Badger
One possibility is that Jones is interested in Mike Zimmer, head coach of the Vikings. Zimmer coached (assistant) with the Cowboys before and after the Vikings get blown out on Sunday, the city, fans, media, etc up there are going to crucify him. And the owner, some idiot named Ziggy may be done with him too.
Zimmer is a no nonsense guy but an utter failure on the offensive side. His specialty is defense and the Cowboys need a defense. Just a possibility, just throwing it out there.

Damn...As an Eagles fan it was my sincere hope that Jerrah Jones was
going to give Garrett a 5 year extension.

I know this was Jason’s dream job, coaching the Cowboys, but it must feel really damn good to be rid of Jerry Jones.

So, Jerry Jones is thinking about maybe having a conversation about whether he should seriously consider possibly looking at firing Jason Garrett? Wow, what decisive leadership! /s
