According to reports, Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett will not be re-signed to his position with the team.
An insider told ESPNs Ed Werder that the team sowed an abundance of care and respect for Garrett, but team owner and general manager Jerry Jones and executive vice president Stephen Jones have decided to give the coach his walking papers.

One possibility is that Jones is interested in Mike Zimmer, head coach of the Vikings. Zimmer coached (assistant) with the Cowboys before and after the Vikings get blown out on Sunday, the city, fans, media, etc up there are going to crucify him. And the owner, some idiot named Ziggy may be done with him too.
Zimmer is a no nonsense guy but an utter failure on the offensive side. His specialty is defense and the Cowboys need a defense. Just a possibility, just throwing it out there.
I know this was Jason’s dream job, coaching the Cowboys, but it must feel really damn good to be rid of Jerry Jones.
One without a gimmick.
Note ever present #2 pencil. Fitting.
So, Jerry Jones is thinking about maybe having a conversation about whether he should seriously consider possibly looking at firing Jason Garrett? Wow, what decisive leadership! /s
Jason Garrett = Generalismo Francisco Franco
The advantage of supporting the Green Bay Packers.
No senile lunatic owners.

And, a US air strike set fire to Soleimani...
IOW, Jason Garrett is about to get a better job.
