From The Arkansas Gazette, a dandy little quote that you will want to pass on. Anything under 4 minutes is good, under 2 is excellent, and 1 minute or less gets you a Kewpie Doll.

You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.

Baffled for a minute then I got on the ball.
I said a Hail Mary, and it suddenly came to me
I sped through solving the sentence but got stuck on the fifth word. That one word took four minutes. Had a good laugh when finally figured it out.

2.5 min on the phone, takes longer cause each letter opened the drop down menu.
It took me longer than it should have. I must remember the connection between words one and seven.
That’s a great saying. I had to search the author, but... I like it.
You’re such a girl....
Yep. If it’s the author of some book about ladies in long dresses and short dowries looking for husbands, I can identify them in 2 letters. Otherwise...?
No wonder I could not even get started yesterday.....
I went to law school with the author’s daughter
