The job requires experience "in disarmament affairs, political analysis or in national military or paramilitary service"
The United Nations is now accepting job applications in New York City, New York for Disarmament, Demobilization, and Reintegration officers to contribute to security and stability in post-conflict environments. The job listing was posted to the U.N. careers homepage on Dec. 26, and notes that female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply for this position because the United Nations Secretariat is committed to achieving 50/50 gender balance in its staff.
UN DDR forces operate under the intergovernmental organizations Department of Peace Operations to assist the Member States, including the United States, in a boots on the ground capacity.
The job listing describes the UNs core values as Integrity, Professionalism, [and] Respect for Diversity.
Applicants eager to conduct DDR field missions are required to have seven years of relevant experience in disarmament affairs, political analysis or in national military or paramilitary service and an advanced university degree (Masters degree or equivalent degree) in disarmament affairs, military studies, political affairs, economics, international relations, or a related field.
The UN describes the Disarmament, Demobilization, and Reintegration protocol as a complex process, with political, military, security, humanitarian and socio-economic dimensions.
Key components of DDR as defined by the UN include disarming the civilian population and the development of responsible arms management programmes and the implementation of mass detainment camps:
Disarmament is the collection, documentation, control and disposal of small arms, ammunition, explosives and light and heavy weapons of combatants and often also of the civilian population. Disarmament also includes the development of responsible arms management programmes.
Demobilization is the formal and controlled discharge of active combatants from armed forces or other armed groups. The first stage of demobilization may extend from the processing of individual combatants in temporary centres to the massing of troops in camps designated for this purpose (cantonment sites, encampments, assembly areas or barracks). The second stage of demobilization encompasses the support package provided to the demobilized, which is called reinsertion.
Reinsertion* is the assistance offered to ex-combatants during demobilization but prior to the longer-term process of reintegration. Reinsertion is a form of transitional assistance to help cover the basic needs of ex-combatants and their families and can include transitional safety allowances, food, clothes, shelter, medical services, short-term education, training, employment and tools. While reintegration is a long-term, continuous social and economic process of development, reinsertion is short-term material and/or financial assistance to meet immediate needs, and can last up to one year.
Reintegration is the process by which ex-combatants acquire civilian status and gain sustainable employment and income. Reintegration is essentially a social and economic process with an open time-frame, primarily taking place in communities at the local level. It is part of the general development of a country and a national responsibility, and often necessitates long-term external assistance.
The UN website notes that it is important to break outside of the traditional view of DDR participants as only being adult males carrying weapons, and remember that DDR participants and beneficiaries may fit all types of profiles including female ex-combatants and women associated with armed forces and groups, children, youth, the elderly and persons living with disabilities.
UN hopefuls hoping to work in New York and contribute to security and stability in post-conflict environments can submit their applications to become DDR officers December 2019 through February 2020.
The headline is a lie.
Why did you post this trash?
The UN DDR is not targeting “US Civilians”.
And NEVER WILL!
Simply trash.
“also can I get a pay advance, yeah the whole first month.
Yeah I’m good for it. Send it Western Union”.
Please point out to me where the UN military academies are?
Do they have any bases?
There are no UN troops unless you want to count their personal security at the UN building.
They can borrow troops from member countries. The majority of the troops they have borrowed in the past have been US troops. Which could be a slight problem in this case. As for the European troops they are very good at raping little children. Not very good at much else.
They can try to get troops from Russia or from China I suppose. But I don't think Putin despite trying to climb into bed with the mohammedans is totally insane. And while China may be tempted they have two big problems and one slightly smaller problem sitting next door. India and Russia who would be more then happy to help themselves to chunks of China while their army was over here. And they have nukes. The slightly smaller problem is Japan which has a really good defensive military that can go offensive in a heart beat. And if they don't have nukes assembled right now they have all the parts sitting together ready to be assembled.
Thanks for explaining how that UN recruiting actually works.
The job listing describes the UNs core values as Drug Pushing, Rape, [and] Denial.
Their force will consist of, the “told” disenfranchised, the lower income on the ladder, the entitlement crowd, the redistribution crowd, illegal aliens and the muslim invaders, the drug gangs and drug cartels, those who hate Jews, whites, so called white supremacists, Christians, Trump and any conservative GOP er, the heterosexual population. The new Hitler brown shirts will turn into a political force with a gun in hand. This cannot and will not fly.
They will regret that move.
Thanks for posting this reminder...
Another reason for us to defund them.

If I'm not mistaken, Russia, China and a lot of totalitarian countries (marxist/socialist & Islamic) are members of the UN.
Yes, the article headline was a little over the top and somewhat misleading, but I'm not an editor. I just posted it here for informational purposes and for others to analyze, add pertinent information and generally dissect.
Now if you don't think there is a deliberate organized effort to undermine the 2nd Amendment by globalists within and outside the US, including the demoKKKrat party, George Soros, Michael Bloomberg, the UN, etc. then you are part of the problem.
By the way, here's another misleading headline in today's news for you:
Severe Human Rights Flaw: Chinese State Run Outlet Blasts U.S. Gun Ownership After Texas Shooting
Oh, and "NEVER WILL" is an awfully long time. I just hope you are right. However if you are wrong, I'll be standing alongside the "Molon Labe" folks. How about you?
This is nonsense.
‘UN DDR forces operate under the intergovernmental organizations Department of Peace Operations to assist the Member States, including the United States, in a boots on the ground capacity.’
Notice the United States is not enclosed in quotes. Word games. This is for generic peacekeeping personnel in post-combat zones.
