The U.S. Embassy in Iraq is, & has been for hours, SAFE! Many of our great Warfighters, together with the most lethal military equipment in the world, was immediately rushed to the site. Thank you to the President & Prime Minister of Iraq for their rapid response upon request....
....Iran will be held fully responsible for lives lost, or damage incurred, at any of our facilities. They will pay a very BIG PRICE! This is not a Warning, it is a Threat. Happy New Year!

No problem. As long as they stick to that all will be fine. After a while the Iraqi government will clear them out peacefully.
The reinforcements are only in the Embassy to defeat a real assault.
Never liked the idea of our Embassy there, seems vulnerable. Apparently not so much.

The attack on Syrian bases of the militia was more important than the Iraqi strikes.
Iran doesn’t seem to be doing much in Syria, is getting cut out by Russia IMHO.
A vote in the Iraqi parliament over removing US forces will be coming up.
But I think we can afford to buy more of their politicians than Iran can afford... ‘diplomacy!’.
