Queens District Attorney-elect Melinda Katz announced Tuesday she will go softer on criminal defendants when she takes over as the borough’s chief prosecutor on Jan. 1.
Katz said she will make it easier for criminal defendants to have their cases heard by a grand jury within five days of an arrest, without losing their right to plea bargain.

Whether she is or is not it certainly is the message from the DAs he funded.
Don’t forget, a lot of felons have had their voting rights restored, so the elected representatives have to start considering what will get their votes.

If a case has strong evidence and is likely to result in a conviction, no bargain. If a case is weak, and there's a lot of uncertainty about a conviction maybe a plea bargain is the best decision.
They tried that already when Dinkins was mayor.

The Left has made a conscious decision to try and make a society where there are no rules and one cannot be held accountable for their actions.
LA and Dallas have DAs that will not prosecute thefts if they’re under a certain amount. $750 in Dallas. $900 in LA. Crime is starting to creep up. Whether this is because the Left is certifiably insane, Soros is pushing these DAs to disrupt life to a point that very extreme measures have to be taken, or a combination thereof, we are headed down a very dangerous path.
Three DAs were recently voted out, in NoVa. The replacements were all Bloomberg and Soros supported. The incumbents have been warning what is coming. This, in an area of the country that has seen steady increases in gang related crime, associated with the very immigration that was used to turn Virginia, BLUE.
It’s going to happen, more and more across the country. And a disarmed citizenry, which is what they want, will be unable to do anything about it.
My comment isn’t about guns, as much as it is about paying attention to who you are voting for, who our elected officials are selling us out to, and immigration, in all its forms. And I mean, not only illegal aliens coming in, legal immigrants, refugees, I’m also talking about all the Liberals that are spreading out, all over the country chasing jobs. Jobs they could have got in the place they’ve come from, but they’ve made it so unliveable that the companies move, they move with it and then ruin the next place.
The Left, gets their votes from a few demo’s. The poor that are on some type of assistance. College kids who think socialism is great until they start working, realize that taxes suck, they can’t pay their loans and they hear Bernies, et al talking about forgiving all loans. Rich white liberals that live in upscale, liberal areas that are some of the whitest places on the planet.
If they keep on supporting these folks, and they will, pretty soon that “soft on crime” approach is going to come knocking on their doorstep.
Their arrogance, true indifference and elitism is going to boomerang on them. They are very kind, caring and compassionate in words, only. They aren’t digging into their pockets to support much and they for damned sure aren’t going to welcome many folks into their homes.
Liberal blue states are turning on their people, defecating in the streets, heroin injection stations, shop lifting under 700 dollars is ok, high density housing yes residential housing outlawed, gun confiscation, social justice for the victimized murderers and rapist, no bail walk free, close the jails its racist, illegals vote get driver licenses free college, social programs and reparations, we are living in a time where our politicians have turned against us and have taken control and will make sure you are destroyed
